Outfit // Instagram Looks

InstagramLook1
I'M WEARING:

PRADA sunglasses // H&M shirt // BERSHKA jeans // FENTY x PUMA slippers // YVES RENARD bag // ROLEX watch

A different type of outfit post, since I'm still (ugh) struggling to juggle the blog, a full time job, a household and my social life. Here are some snaps of my outfit that my boyfriend took in between and that I uploaded on my Instagram-account. Apart from the last couple of days, the weather has been good to us in Belgium.

It has been raining cats and dogs now, but the sun should come out again this weekend -- which is great news, since I'll be attending Tomorrowland this Friday. Who else will be there? My mind has been going overdrive on which outfit to wear, though. I still haven't decided, so a little help is always appreciated. Tell me, what's your favorite go to outfit for a festival?

Let me know!

Kiss!

Personal // Instagram & Snapchat July 2015

InstagramJuly1
As you may have noticed, it's been a bit silent here for the past month. I decided to take a small break to clear my mind and figure out on where I want to go with my blog. I spent tons of time with family and friends and combined it brainstorming sessions as well. It was perfect to recharge my batteries and I'm full of inspiration and new ideas now.

You can have a sneak peek into my personal life on Instagram and Snapchat; my username on both is Krizia_S. Find some of my favorite pictures and moments of the month of July below.

Fashion News // Hermès Vintage Auction And Exhibition @ Cornette De Saint Cyr In Brussels

HermèsKelly
Hermès Kelly Bag; Crocodilus Porosus Bordeaux; 33 cm
Estimated: € 11.000 - € 12.000

Hermès / Vintage / Fashion lovers rejoice! Some awesome fashion news has just landed in my inbox: auction house Cornette De Saint Cyr in Brussels will be hosting the first auction of vintage Hermès goodies in Belgian history. About 350 stunning pieces will be auctioned; just think Carré scarfs, prêt-à-porter for both men and women, watches, jewelry, silver / crystal tablewear and china ... and some stunning Birkin, Kelly and Constance bags of course. The prices are estimated between € 60 and € 30.000.

Unfortunately, I have to work the day that the auction takes place. I would have loved to see a live auction for once. Will there be people on the phone, bidding for some insanely rich, anonymous buyer? Does the host really babble ridiculously fast when searching for bidders? Hell, I got an entire movie scene in mind.

If Birkin bags and Clic-Clac H bracelets are way above your budget, but you'd love to see what the auction has to offer, there's also an Hermès exhibition for you to visit. All of the pieces will be displayed for the public to view and admire.

>> Dates & Hours:

Hermès Vintage Exposition
16 - 18 October from 10h00 'till  18h00
19 October from 11h00 'till 13h00

Hermès Vintage Auction
19 October at 15h00

>> Location:

Cornette De Saint Cyr
Chaussée de Charleroi 89
1060 Brussels

More info on the Cornette De Saint Cyr website.

If you click below, you will have a teeny tiny preview of a handfull of goodies that will be auction. Just a few of them, I didn't want to ruin all the fun.

Outfit // Peplum

Peplum4
I never wore any peplum tops - I always thought they weren't my thing - but when I spotted this one at work, I immediately fell in love with it. The beaded collar adds the perfect amount of cuteness and innocence to every look, don't you think? Plus, I can finally show you my new Chloé 'Carlina' sunglasses in full glory. I just love how big and over the top they are. Move over, Nicole Richie!

On my left arm, I'm wearing two Loom bracelets that were made by a friend of mine; I don't have the patience to create one myself. They are made out of the colors of the Belgian and the Italian flag, which are both my nationalities. My parents are Italian, I was born in Belgium, so I'm both Belgian and Italian. Since Italy isn't competing in the World Championship any longer (and that's all I wish to say about it #Trauma), I'm giving my all to cheer for Belgium... Even though I think that the whole World Cup is a scam and that Brazil will win it. Mark my words. Anyway, the green / yellow bracelet was also a gift. A friend gave it to me as a souvenir from her trip to Barcelona. Too sweet.

I wore this look for a shopping trip to Dusseldorf with my parents on a cloudy, yet warm day. My dad was waiting in the car while we were shooting this look, poor thing.

Shark Attack Loves... // Labelcrush.com

Collage1
It's time to introduce you a new Belgian hotspot on the World Wide Web: Labelcrush.com!

LabelCRUSH is an online platform where you can sell your preloved and good-as-new clothes, shoes, bags, jewelry -- well, you get the picture. However, this website is different from other vintage selling websites and shops. Why?

- If you're interested in selling an item from your closet, you can decide the price you want to sell it for yourself. Plus, you can change the price whenever you want. It happens often that the owners of the vintage selling website or shop set the price your item will be sold for.

- The team behind LabelCRUSH don't get a penny if you sell an item. Most owners ask a commission whenever an item from their website or shop has been sold (a 20 % commission, for example). The only thing you have to pay for at LabelCRUSH, is to get your item online. These prices are nothing compared to the commission of a sold item; do you prefer to pay a couple of euros to advertise your item or to hand over 100 euros or more as a commission? Yes, I think so too. You can find all advertising prices here.

I've been browsing the web shop for the past hour now and I've seen so many items I'd love to add to my wardrobe. Unfortunately, a lot of them are sold out already. You have to be very quick to get your hands on the item you want on the LabelCRUSH website. To avoid this from happening, you can become a VIP Member. This will give you the privilege to see and purchase all new arrivals 48 hours before the non VIP Members can. Pretty cool, right?

Sold out or not, I decided to make a collage for you anyway. Nothing wrong with a bit of eye candy. My wallet isn't cutting me any slack at the moment, so I'm thinking of selling some of my designer items via LabelCRUSH myself. If I do, I'll let y'all know, of course!

Now, to be redirected to the items in the collage above, click on the links below:

Outfit // Voodoo Child

Photobucket
Well, nothing new to say about this outfit. Most of you know that I'm a sucker for band shirts, so when I saw this one at the H&M men's department, I had to get it. To make something clear: I do love and listen to all the bands that are pictured on my shirts. I'm allergic to people who wear band shirts of one of my favorite bands and that can't name even one song.

Another fact: I love blue and gold combos. I thought it would be fun to add some bold jewelry and a classic bag to this rather casual outfit.

Sorry for the awkward poses, but it was freezing when we shot these pictures.

What'd ya think?

I'll meet you on the next one.
And don't be late."

Outfit // Simplicity

Photobucket
Some things I wanted to share with you:

- Here's a quick outfit post of what I wore today. Yes, I finally had the chance to wear the Maison Martin Margiela for H&M boots.

- Forget what I said in my previous post: these boots aren't that comfortable as I thought they were and they do hurt.

- I wanted to keep everything as simple as possible, so the boots would get the attention they deserve. Even though it's fun from time to time, you don't always have to pull out the craziest outfits to look good.

- Sorry for my blouse and all the wrinkles. I didn't realize how bad it was until I saw these pictures. I was wearing the blouse for about an hour when we went out to shoot. I have no idea what I did to ruin it like this.

- I'm not feeling too well, which means: no close-ups.

- Need to get a new lens / camera. I don't like the quality of my pictures at all lately.

That's all.

Outfit // Dressed Up Saturday

Photobucket
Am I the only one who hates having to find an 'appropriate' title for every post?
Anyways, since it's Saturday and I'm about to go shopping with my dad in a bit, I decided to call this post 'Dressed Up Saturday'. God, that sounds so lame.

I don't really have that much to write. Not being able to shop forces me to be creative with the items that are already hanging in my closet and I must admit that I'm not very good at it. It took me an hour to put this outfit together. I do like this dark look, though. Dark's my thing, I love it. I didn't want to go back to my 'goth' phase I had in second grade, so I added these flower printed pants. The sun isn't shining that bright, but I really wanted to wear my new sunnies, so here you go.

Outfit // Happy Easter!

Photobucket
First of all: Happy Easter!
I hope you'll get buried in chocolate eggs and that you'll get to spend this holidays with your loved ones. Here are some snaps of my outfit, taken in between preparations for today's family lunch. I decided to match one of my favorite band shirts with a pencil skirt, creating a rock chic look. What do you think? :)

Plus, I treated myself on a little Easter present ... I decided to get a .com, which means my URL is http://www.sharkattackfashionblog.com from now on. I wanted to use 'Shark Attack', but it was already taken and I guess it's a nice reminder that people looking for defense against sharks should not click on my URL. ;) Now, I installed it that way that, while inserting my old URL (http://krizia-shark-attack.blogspot.com), you should be redirected to the new URL, but it doesn't work for me. Does anybody know if it takes some time to adjust or ...?
Thanks in advance!

Enjoy the weekend!

Details // A la Blair Waldorf

Photobucket
A few detail shots of my outfit for two events I'm going to today:
Tiany Kirilove for Vero Moda and the 25 Years Kipling Party.
As some of you may have read on Twitter - or are a big fan of Gossip Girl - I decided to base my outfit on my beloved Blair Waldorf. She's my favorite character on the show. I wanted to wear a headband with a big bow to make it 100 % Blair proof, but being the organized person that I am, I can't find it anymore.

I gotta run now - such a busy day, but I'm loving it - so I leave you with a few shots I took in 2 minutes time. I'll show you pictures of the events, of course. Can't wait to see all of my blogger friends again. It's been too long!

One of my New Year's Resolutions was to wear my jewelry more often. For some odd reason, I always buy jewelry, but never seem to wear them. I'm a big fan of mix and match, so I decided to wear three of my favorite bracelets together. I just hope that wearing them together won't cause too many scratches, especially on the Hermès bracelet. That one's sacred to me.

What do you think? Hit or miss?

Hermès // Click H vs. Kelly Double Tour

Photobucket
No, I didn't get a new Hermès-goodie - #sniff - but my sister did!
While I got the Click H-bracelet in purple/blue last summer, my sister got the Kelly Double Tour bracelet, in a pinkish color I can't really describe, just yesterday. I tried the Double Tour bracelet too when I bought the Click H, but me being me, I'll probably ruin the leather in no time.

So, which model / color do you prefer?
The Click H or the Kelly Double Tour?

New // Hermès Carré: 'Jungle Love'

Photobucket
Another birthday gift, this time given to me by the best sister and brother-in-law in the world! I couldn't believe it when they gave me a big orange Hermès-bag this morning. Inside, I found my very first Hermès Carré scarf, called 'Jungle Love'. And oh boy, am I in love with it! I couldn't have wished for a better gift. Now lets hope the rain will stay away just a little bit longer -- We don't want to ruin this baby, now do we?

Oh, and before I forget...
Thank you al so much for all the birthday wishes on Twitter and Facebook!
You're the best!

Personal // Random

DSC05606

Hi everyone!

Here are some random shots from the past days, to show you what I've been up to lately. I've got some exciting projects coming up concerning Shark Attack, so stay tuned! Some hints? Well, here are a couple of key words: contests, events, a project with two other Belgian bloggers and a give away.

I would also like to thank you for your constant love and support. This couldn't nor wouldn't be possible without your help and I feel blessed to have the best readers ever!

Detail // Mix And Match

DSC05397
I wore my Swatch-watch and Hermès-bracelet together today, and thought it looked nice. Whoever said you can't mix 'expensive' and 'less expensive' items / accessories together needs to get his or her ass kicked.

I wore the bracelet as a good luck charm to take my re-sit, even if I don't really believe in good luck charms. But, in one of the most crucial moments of my life, I'm willing to make an exception and try to 'believe'. It's all or nothing now...

Those re-sits are also the reason why I haven't shown my face on the blog lately. I saw a fellow student of mine again today, and the first thing he said was: "Wow, you look like sh*t!". (Thanks for that, by the way!) But, he's right. All the stress concerning school, studying and pulling some all nighters are beginning to show. I'm having my last re-sit this Friday and I'm going to a spa with my best friend on Saturday. Let's hope they can perform some kind of miracle so I can be yours again ASAP!

New // Clic H by Hermès

DSC05382
Remember the promise my mom made a while ago?
Well, she kept it! I took a break from studying yesterday and went on a quick shopping trip to Düsseldorf with my mom, sister and brother-in-law. We always know exactly which shops we want to see when we go to Düsseldorf, which makes it all much easier. Since my birthday isn't 'till November, I was surprised my mom wanted to buy the bracelet now.

When the saleswoman at Hermès took out the Clic H-bracelets, two colors immediately caught my eye: orange and a blue / purple kinda mix color. I wanted to go for the orange bracelet - since it is the Hermès color - but it didn't suit me. So I got the other bracelet instead. I felt like a kid in a candy store when I received my first little orange box and bag. Hopefully, there will be more to come! ;)

You can click below to see the bracelet.

Spotted: Coloring Book by Hermès

I wonder if there are really parents out there
who would spend 130 dollars on a coloring book by
Hermès for their toddlers.

Wouldn't you just want to kill them if they'd color
outside the lines or rip the pages out of it?

Inspired By Hermès

After having my re-sit last Friday, and working the entire weekend,
I finally have a day off and time for a new post!

After seeing my sister's post about Hermès' J'aime Mon Carré,
I got inspired by the many pictures of the Hermès scarf.
My sister owns a Hermès scarf, and when she bought it, she also got a set of cards
with instructions to fold your scarf in multiple ways.
I tried the 'Carré Bandeau', using my scarf as a headband.

I didn't use my sister's scarf, I think she would kill me if something happened to it.
So I decided to use my scarf from H&M, which has the same measures as a Hermès one.
The red lipstick is Rouge Allure from Chanel.

Shark Attack Talks... // Designer Clothes Bad For Our Health?

I found an article on the website of the Dutch Grazia, stating that designer clothes' quality is very bad and that they even might be bad for our health. Chinese investigators say that clothes of Versace, Hermès, Paul & Shark, Hugo Boss, Dolce & Gabbana (and others) contain formaldehyde, a substance that might cause skin and eye irritations, allergies and even cancer.

Up 'till now, I never had any problems with any of my 'more expensive' clothes, so I'll keep wearing them. :)

Here are some pictures of one of my favourite D&G collections, the Fall 2009 RTW collection. I made a post about the collection once. I don't know about the bad substances, but the clothes don't seem of bad quality to me.

What do you think?
