A different type of outfit post, since I'm still (ugh) struggling to juggle the blog, a full time job, a household and my social life. Here are some snaps of my outfit that my boyfriend took in between and that I uploaded on <a href="http://instagram.com/Krizia_S" target="_blank">my Instagram-account</a>. Apart from the last couple of days, the weather has been good to us in Belgium.</div>

<div style="text-align: justify;">
It has been raining cats and dogs now, but the sun should come out again this weekend -- which is great news, since I'll be attending Tomorrowland this Friday. Who else will be there? My mind has been going overdrive on which outfit to wear, though. I still haven't decided, so a little help is always appreciated. Tell me, what's your favorite go to outfit for a festival?</div>

Aaah, festival season is upon us and I couldn't be happier! Belgium might be a pin sized country on the globe, but it hosts some of the best and most famous festivals in the world. Next to Extrema Outdoor and Werchter Classic (Guns N' Roses, here I come! <i>#dream</i>), I'll also <i>finally </i>attend Tomorrowland again. It took us 14 PC's, laptops, tablets and smartphones (and a lot of stress too), but my boyfriend managed to get us tickets for the second Friday, yay! I attended Tomorrowland once in 2009, way before it was such a worldwide phenomenon, and was able to get my tickets at a local music store. Man, how things can change so quickly! That aside, I'm very proud that people from all over the world unite in "my Belgium" for two magical weekends in a row. And I'm so happy that I get to experience it myself again.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Anyway, the hunt for the perfect festival outfits has started and I might not have to search too long for my Tomorrowland outfit: meet the <i>TML by Tomorrowland </i>collection! They just launched their <i>'Embrace The Journey'</i> collection and even though it's an independent fashion label, their link with the Tomorrowland festival is undeniable. From T-shirts to caps and sunglasses to jewelry; find it all in one of the 30 stores in Belgium and the Netherlands or go to the <a href="https://store.tomorrowland.com/collections/women" target="_blank">Tomorrowland store</a> to shop your favorite item.</div>

<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Hi guys,
I just wanted to give you a short update on my two latest additions to my closet and my favorite trend for spring and summer. During a shopping spree at Zara, I came home with two new pair of shoes. <i>#SorryNotSorry </i>Can I also give a shoutout to the best boyfriend in the world -- which is mine -- for letting me shop without pointing out the amount of shoes that are already in my closet? I love you, babe.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
After taking this picture, I realized that there was a third pair that I got at Zara (again, <i>#SorryNotSorry</i>) and I forgot to photograph; you can see and shop them <a href="https://www.zara.com/be/nl/dames/schoenen/alles-bekijken/espadrilles-met-open-hiel-c719531p4215003.html" target="_blank">here</a>. I've been wearing espadrilles for as long as I can remember and apart of the fact that they are super comfy, I also love that are made out of leather. It gives them that extra edgy vibe. If you're a longtime follower of the blog, you know I love myself some leather goodies.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
The <a href="https://www.zara.com/be/nl/dames/schoenen/laarzen-en-laarsjes/enkellaars-met-borduurwerk-c893503p4124008.html" target="_blank">flower printed ankle booties</a> were on my wish list for quite a while, but they seemed to be missing from every Zara store I visited. I even ordered my aunt and boyfriend to look for them in the Netherlands, without any result. Didn't I tell you that I have the best boyfriend in the world? Anyway, I had already given up on them when I entered the Zara-store in Düsseldorf and they were the first thing I saw. I already wore them with an all black outfit, but I can't wait to combine them with a casual white shirt and a pair of black skinny jeans.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
As for the <a href="https://www.zara.com/be/nl/dames/schoenen/alles-bekijken/stoffen-sandalen-met-open-hiel-c719531p4144015.html" target="_blank">tropical printed babouche slippers</a> on the right: they're the ultimate love or hate thing. If I had a say in it, I would choose them as my favorite trend for this spring and summer. They're casual but edgy and the options on how to wear them are endless. Plus, don't we all love a romantic, Arab, Aladdin vibe? I spotted this pair and tried them on at the Zara in Maastricht, but didn't get them because my sister kept telling me how much she hated them. When I was laying in bed, all I could think was: since when do I listen to other people's opinion? It literally felt as if I neglected my morals and values. <i>*Insert dramatic tune here*</i> So the next day, I asked my boyfriend to take me to Maastricht again (best boyfriend) and the shoes and I lived happily ever after.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<b><u><span style="font-size: large;">WISH LIST:</span></u></b></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
I also spotted another pair of babouche slippers, this time by Jeffrey Campbell, but they are sold out everywhere! <i>#Cries</i> They're called the <a href="http://www.jeffreycampbellshoes.com/flats/sarika-emb#.WNWL9hSMHgI" target="_blank">Sarika-Emb flats</a> and they're so Dolce & Gabbana. Most people will think they're too much, but I think they're the coolest. I already subscribed myself to receive an email when they're going to be restocked, so fingers crossed! What are your thoughts on them? </div>

<b>Say farewell to your out-of-bed-face: Clinique has created a whole range of skincare products to get your face ready for the day. The Clinique Pep-Start collection contains a cleanser, a moisturizer, a day cream and an eye cream.</b></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<b><br /></b></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
My skin is quite dramatic; always has been and always will be. Clinique's products are all allergy tested and are 100% fragrance free, which is a huge plus for my sensitive skin. Did you know that their final products are tested 12 times on 600 people? If one of those 7200 people gets an allergic reaction, Clinique re-evaluates the product and its formula, until they have reached perfection. I don't think that I need to explain myself on why my bathroom shelves are dominated by Clinique products, now do I?</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
The whole Pep-Start routine takes up a maximum of 5 minutes, making it the perfect skincare routine for those who don't have a lot of time in the morning. Curious to find out more? Keep on reading after the jump!</div>

<br />
<span style="text-align: justify;">The </span><i style="text-align: justify;">Pep-Start 2-in-1 Exfoliating Cleanser </i><span style="text-align: justify;">is a freshening gel, scrub like formula, which cleanses and exfoliates the skin at once. It removes dirt, impurities and tallow and thanks to the triple exfoliation, it leaves you with a clean and soft skin which is make up ready. The formula is soft enough to use twice a day. Apply a walnut sized amount onto your damp hands, massage and let it foam on your face. Rinse with lukewarm water afterwards. Be sure to avoid the eye area.</span><br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<b><i>Ingredients:</i></b></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<b><i><br /></i></b></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<i>Water, Glycerin, Sodium Laureth Sulfate, Silica, Acrylates Copolymer, Lauramidopropyl Betaine, Butylene Glycol, Sucrose, Cocamidopropyl Hydroxysultaine, Carica Papaya Fruit Extract, Bamboo Stem Extract, Laminaria Saccharina Extract, Salicylic Acid, Palmitoyl Tetrapeptide-7, Palmitoyl Tripeptide-1, Caffeine, Sodium Hyaluronate, Acetyl Glucosamine, Sodium Coco PG-Dimonium Chloride Phosphate, Polysorbate 20, Disodium Cocoyl Glutamate, Citric Acid, Sodium Cocoyl Glutamate, Laureth-2, Sodium Chloride, Sodium Hydroxide, Sodium Sulfate, Carbomer, Monosodium Citrate, Disodium Edta, Edta, Bht, Phenoxyethanol, Orange 4 (CI 15510), Yellow 5 (CI 19140), Red 4 (CI 14700)</i></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">

<img alt="CliniquePepStart3" src="https://c1.staticflickr.com/1/415/31712098733_749a5cbc5c_c.jpg" width="720" />
<br />
The <i>Pep-Start Hydrorush Moisturizer SPF 20 </i>is a day cream which protects your skin against the sun, which is always a plus in my eyes. It provides UVA/UVB sun protection thanks to the chemical (ray absorbing) and physical (ray reflecting) sun filters. My skin's very pale, meaning that I have to be careful when it comes to the sun, so this cream is definitely one of my favorites. I apply it in the morning and it gets absorbed by the skin very quickly, leaving my skin super soft and make up ready.<br />
<br />
<b><i>Ingredients:</i></b><br />
<b><i><br /></i></b>
<i>Not mentioned on the packaging.</i><br />
<i><br /></i></div>
<img alt="CliniquePepStart4" height="532" src="https://c1.staticflickr.com/1/394/31559867383_8bb2b4fe28_c.jpg" width="800" />
<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
If I notice that my skin is oily and shiny in the morning, I use the <i>Pep-Start Hydroblur Moisturizer </i>instead. It focuses on the pores and imperfections on the skin and contains a 'matte hydration' thanks to the new Hydroblur technology. It can be used in three different ways: </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
* As a make up base;</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
* For a perfectioned skin without make up;</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
* Or to do small corrections, leaving you with a perfect skin all day long.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Like I said before: I use it in the morning if I notice that my skin is shining like a mofo or in the evening, before I go to bed (it can be used for both morning and evening). </div>
<br />

<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
My personal holy grail for those puffy eyes in the morning: the <i>Pep-Start Eye Cream</i>. Even though it can also be used <i>after </i>you've done your make up, I prefer to apply it before. The ball shaped applicator decreases the puffy bags underneath your eyes and gives you a fresh and awakened feeling and look. It's the perfect solution after having to get up after a short night with lack of sleep. It fights the signs of stress, fatigue and insomnia with a mix of 7 peptides, keeping the collagen on point and boosting the skin. I think this is my favorite product out of the whole bunch! </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<b>P.S.: </b>To apply the eye cream, you have to pull the ball shaped applicator. It took me quite some time to figure this out, lol. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<b><i>Ingredients:</i></b></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<b><i><br /></i></b></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
* <i>Cafeïne </i>and <i>Melasse </i>for clear, illuminating eyes, creating an awakened look;</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
* <i>Shea Butter </i>to boost the skin's moisture and a mix of natural moist binders that keep the moist into the skin;</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
* <i>Whey Protein </i>and <i>Soybeans Protein </i>to make the contours of the eyes healthier, smoother and clearer.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br />
<br />
That's it for my current skin routine!<br />

<br />
<b style="text-align: justify;">First of all: Happy New Year! I'm having such a hard time to find the right balance between the blog, my full time job, my boyfriend, my social life and maintaining my household. How do you, other bloggers, do it? If you have some pointers, do share them in the comment box below. On another note: not too long ago, I turned 27 aka time to spoil myself...</b><br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<b><br /></b></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Owning a house and moving in together definitely changes your budget and spending habits -- talk about an adjustment. Groceries have to be done, bills have to be paid: farewell buying-everything-you-want-life. However, I still am who I am and I still am a lady that loves herself some pretty things. So when I turned 27, I found it the perfect excuse for a gift from me to me; something that was on my wish list for quite some time now. I still get to treat myself at least once a year, right?</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
So, here she is, my newest addition to the Chanel family: the Chanel Wallet On A Chain (or WOC, for short) in black caviar leather and with silver hardware. I picked her up during a shopping spree in Düsseldorf. My parents and I spent about an hour and a half in the Chanel store, because I couldn't make up my mind. The saleswoman took out every single WOC they had in store and I was stuck between the WOC above and a red one in the soft lambskin leather and with golden hardware. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
I always said that, if I'd ever get a WOC, it would be in a bright and popping color. The red one was amazing, but I was a afraid that my dark clothing would leave marks on the lambskin leather -- I am a fan of black clothes, after all. There's no need to lie about it: I also own the Chanel Classic Flap Bag in lambskin leather and it's just more delicate and harder to maintain. The saleswoman was honest enough to admit that there would be a chance that my dark clothes would leave stains and that it's not covered by the warranty. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
So, after debating for over an hour, my black loving heart made the decision and I took this beauty home with me. I usually carry big bags with me, so the WOC took some getting used to. It narrowly fits my creditcards, ID card, iPhone, a lipstick, a tiny mirror and some cash -- just necessities, really. The caviar leather is more sustainable and hardly shows any marks of usage. It's the perfect bag for a day of shopping or for a date night. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
What do you think about her?</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
P.S. I'd also like to thank my mom, dad and the Chanel saleswoman for their patience on that particular day. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>

<b>Christmas is just around the corner and every year, I struggle with finding the perfect gifts for my friends and family. Can your relate to this as well or are you the perfect gift hunter? If you are, please share your tips and tricks! Anyway, this year, the struggle wasn't as real as it used to be, thanks to Kipling.</b><br />
<b><br /></b>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Aaah, Kipling. Such nostalgia! The brand has been around for decades and is still going strong. I can still remember my first Kipling bag in primary school - a baby blue one - and you basically felt like an outsider if you didn't have one. And not to forget the anticipation to find out the name of the monkey on your keychain. I love these memories! I'm currently working a store which also sells Kipling and it's still one of their top selling brands. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
The brand has been renewing and reinventing itself over the years and is now launching the <i>Make It Yours </i>project, which gives you the opportunity to personalize Kipling bags and accessories. Choose your favorite color and font so that your purchase becomes yours and yours only. I chose ART M travel bag in Alaskan Blue and personalized it with my name in white, so that it pops from afar. The bag's perfect to use when traveling, to go to the gym or to take with you for a sleepover. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
I absolutely love this initiative and it's the perfect opportunity to gift your best friends or family with something super personal and customized! </div>

<b>Fall is going on full force in Belgium right now and also winter is coming slowly but surely. Dry and tight skin and hands, busted lips, a running nose... </b><b>The drastic change of weather is an attack on your skin, which needs to be taken care of appropriately with an adapted routine. I recently discovered some new products that I added to mine.</b></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<b><br /></b></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Nivea released a couple of products to get through winter with a baby soft skin. The area round my nose and my legs always get super dry and are definitely the biggest problem during this time of year. I decided to share some of my new favorites with you, in hopes of making your winter struggles a little bit easier.</div>

<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
The <i>Nourishing Natural Oil Shower Oil </i>is the perfect way to already nourish your skin when you're taking a shower. Massage the oil on your body until it turns into a soft foam and rinse thoroughly afterwards. NOTE: make sure that you rinse your shower very well too to prevent slipping. The product is made out of 55% natural oils and has a subtle, warm scent. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<b><i>Ingredients:</i></b></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<b><i><br /></i></b></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<i>Glycine Soja Oil, MIPA Laureth Sulfate, Ricinus Communis Seed Oil, Laureth-4, Cocamide DEA, Parfum, Citric Acid, Aqua, BHT, Propyl Gallate, Limonene, Lilalool, Citronellol, Coumarin, Benzyl Alcohol, Alpha-Isomethyl Ionone, Farnesol, Geraniol </i></div>

<img alt="Nivea3" src="https://c1.staticflickr.com/6/5575/30860233232_7859db7ec4_z.jpg" width="720" />
<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
The cream is suitable to nourish and hydrate both face and body. I use it after coming out of the shower, having used the oil above before. The cream isn't sticky and gets absorbed by the skin in no time, which is a plus for me. It allows me to put on my pants very quickly, instead of waiting for my legs or body not to be sticky anymore.</div>

<div style="text-align: justify;">
Ah, busted lips; we all get to deal with it at a certain point during fall and winter. As far as I can remember, I've been using Labello lip balms: starting with the iconic white/blue packaging and then using a pearly rose one when my parents started to allow me using make up (for a little bit). The Labello lip balms contain Shea Butter and Panthenol, providing hydrated and moisturized lips and giving them a subtle shine as well.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
For this winter, Labello has come up with 6 limited edition neon packages. The pink and purple one (pictured above) are my favorite, but they also come in neon blue, orange, yellow and green. Get yours while you can now! They look super fun and are very easy to find in your make up bag or purse. </div>

<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<b>After spending almost 27 years at my safe haven - aka home - I decided it was time to leave the nest and move in with my boyfriend of 1,5 years. A logical step, but still a big one. Sure, we spent all of our free moments together and yes, we went on that much feared first holiday -- because you know, "that's when you really get to know each other". Even though you are indeed together 24/7, moving in a house or apartment is slightly different than going to the beach and sipping cocktails for a week. My boyfriend and I moved in last weekend, and here are the top 5 things I think you need to know.</b></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<b><br /></b></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<i>1. Where are you going to live?</i></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<i><br /></i></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
My boyfriend used to live 20 minutes from here, so the first big question was: will I move to him or will he come this way? Since I already bought a house before we met and it would spare him 20 minutes to get to work , our decision was easily made and he moved to my hometown. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
If you both live and work in the same place, you'll probably know the answer to this question immediately. But if one, or both, of you work somewhere else, it might be more practical to move somewhere in between. On the other hand: some people find it difficult to be away from family and friends. Have a thorough, deep conversation on this subject before you move on to anything else. Be clear and tell each other what you want (and especially what you don't want).<br />
<br />
<a name='more'></a></div>
<i style="text-align: justify;">2. Do you want to live in a house or in an apartment?</i><br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<i><br /></i></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
This might seem like a trivial thing, but it's not. Are you comfortable with strangers living above, beside and beneath you? With probably having to deal with their noise, fights and other things you wished you hadn't seen or heard. The same goes for them about you, by the way. Do you want a garden or do you settle for a balcony as well? Living in a house or in an apartment usually comes with a price difference as well. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<i>3. Are you going to rent a place first or it right away?</i></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<i><br /></i></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Buying a house or an apartment is amazing for sure, since you'll completely own the place and can do whatever you want with it. Renting a place comes with more limits and restrictions. Plus, renting is often seen as 'lost money': you're paying off someone else's loan with your hard earned money. However, renting <i>will </i>give you the chance to see how things work out between you and your partner living under the same roof 24/7, without too many financial catastrophes afterwards. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
I already owned a place before I met my boyfriend, as I bought my grandparents' house after they both passed away. After meeting my boyfriend and coming to the realization that he is 'the One', we initially wanted to remodel the entire place before moving in together. In the end, we thought it would be a better idea to move in first, see how everything goes between us, and remodel it afterwards. Everything - from furniture to cutlery - was still there, so we only had to move our clothes and personal belongings. Nor is it mine or his style when it comes to the interior, but it will do just fine for now. So, for now, it will seem as if we are renting the place, giving us the time to get to know each other before throwing in lots of cash. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<img alt="MovingIn2" src="https://c3.staticflickr.com/6/5464/30157069690_d92d062055_z.jpg" width="720" />
<br />
<i>4. Who is going to pay for what?</i></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<i><br /></i></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Are you going to split all the bills (loan, gas, water, electricity, groceries ...)? Or will you decide which bill is for you and which one's for your partner beforehand? Will you open a joint bank account or will you keep your own? Or both? This is a major deal, so be sure to set everything straight before moving in. Financial issues can cause big issues in someone's household, so it's extremely important to be as clear as possible about this subject before anything else. The best thing to do is to sit together, see how much each of you makes a month, and calculate the amount of money you can miss (but still can live comfortably).</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
My boyfriend and I opened a joint bank account, but we will also keep our own personal accounts as well. Independent woman and stuff, you know? We will deposit a fixed amount of money (which we agreed on before) into the account and use it for groceries, bills, emergencies ... Since my boyfriend makes significantly more money than I do - he's a police detective, I'm a sales assistant -, he will deposit more into the account. Everything that's left is for us to save for our own or to buy ourselves something we want. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<i>5. Do you want the same things interior wise? </i></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<i><br /></i></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
In the future - aka: when we know we support each other under one roof 24/7 for a longer period of time - my boyfriend and I are going to remodel the house completely. Luckily, we both like the same style: modern, tight and not too many unnecessary things (as in: framed life quotes all over the house, figurines, kitschy souvenirs ...). Even though I like to see it at other people's home (sometimes), I just can't imagine living myself in it permanently. Luckily, the boyfriend feels the same.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
It could happen that your partner and you don't see eye to eye on this matter. Talk about it and work out a compromise. Mixing different interior styles could work out perfectly -- just do your homework. Browse the Internet, go through interior magazines, visit interior stores and fairs ... Who knows, maybe you'll grow to like each other's preference as well. </div>

<b>Meet M.A.C.'s new lipstick line called <i>Liptensity</i>, created in collaboration with Maureen Seaberg. While M.A.C. usually makes an appeal to celebrities to work with them, they now asked a tetrachromat to help them out. Not sure what I'm talking about? Don't worry, I wasn't either at first. </b></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<b><br /></b></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
A tetrachromat is someone with "the genetic ability to see up to 100 million hues imperceptible to the average naked eye" -- in other words: someone who sees 100 times more colors than the average person. With the help of Maureen Seaberg and the High-Frequency Tetrachromatic Pigments technology , M.A.C. was able to create a lipstick line of 24 unseen, intense colors. </div>

<div style="text-align: justify;">
<b>MAKE UP LOVERS REJOICE! Anastasia Soare aka <i>Anastasia Beverly Hills has </i>finally set foot on Belgian soil with her world famous brow products. After reading about her in tons of magazines, seeing her all over TV and the Internet, us Belgians can now finally jump on the bandwagon as well. Curious on where you can find <i>Anastasia</i> <i>Beverly Hills </i>products in Belgium? Keep on reading! </b></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Anastasia's career was launched way back in 1990, when she had to replace a friend in a famous beauty salon in Melrose Place. With tons of clients coming back for her brow treatment, she decides to start her own business and rents a space in the salon. After opening her very own salon in 1997, gaining the 'brow guru' status and appearing on the Oprah Winfrey Show, her popularity skyrockets -- <i>literally</i>. As of then, Jennifer Lopez, Beyoncé, Madonna and many others, find a way to her salon. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
As if an A-list clientele wasn't enough, Anastasia also created the unique and patented <i>Golden Ratio </i>method: she studied bone structures, hair structures and facial proportions to create the perfect brow for everyone. She developed 5 stencils based on simple measuring points, giving you the chance to discover the perfect eyebrows for your face and structure. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">

<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
The <i>Brow Powder Duo </i>is a small compact with a light and dark shade to do your brows with. Because the powder attaches itself between the eyebrow hairs perfectly, it doesn't smudge. The color I received is Taupe (based on the scheme), but it's available in various colors: Blonde, Taupe, Ash Brown, Medium Brown, Dark Brown, Caramel, Soft Brown, Chocolate, Ebony, Granite and Auburn.</div>
<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<b>Ingredients:</b><br />
<b><br /></b></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">

<img alt="AnastasiaBeverlyHills6" src="https://c8.staticflickr.com/6/5271/30138444415_265fc2b042_c.jpg" width="720" />
<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
To me, the <i>Perfect Brow Pencil </i>can be used best to fill up gaps that the powder might have missed and to outline and enhance the shape of your brows. The fact that it comes with a brow brush, is an extra plus for me. The color pictures above is Taupe, but the pencil is also available in the following shades: Blonde, Taupe, Soft Brown, Medium Brown, Dark Brown, Caramel, Granite and Auburn.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<b>Ingredients:</b></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<b><br /></b></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<i>C10-18 Triglycerides, Mica, Hydrogenated Vegetable Oil, Hydrogenated Cottonseed Oil, Talc, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Ascorbyl Palmitate, Tin Oxide, Tocopherol <b>May Contain: </b>(+/-) Iron Oxides (CI 77491, CI 77492, CI 77499), Titanium Dioxide (CI 77891)</i></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<i><br /></i></div>
<img alt="AnastasiaBeverlyHills3" src="https://c1.staticflickr.com/9/8556/29843014400_f044f3e5a9_c.jpg" width="720" />
<br />
<img alt="AnastasiaBeverlyHills7" src="https://c8.staticflickr.com/6/5749/29509650903_e0980d9003_c.jpg" width="720" />
<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
The <i>Brow Wiz </i>is a super fine pencil, which is perfect if you like a softer and a more natural look. The fine, retractable pencil tip is perfect to draw eyebrows hair in between the real ones. I later discovered that the other side also hides an eyebrow brush -- <i>oops</i>. Again, I received the color Taupe, but it's also available in the following colors: Ash Blonde / Taupe, Medium Ash / Medium Brown, Brunette / Dark Brown, Caramel, Soft Brown, Ebony, Granite, Chocolate and Auburn.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<b>Ingredients:</b></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<b><br /></b></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<i>Hydrogenated Soybean Oil, Hydrogenated Coco-Glycerides, Hydrogenated Vegetable Oil, Zinc Stearate, Mica, Stearic Acid, Copernicia Cerifera (Carnauba) Wax, Polyglyceryl -2 Triisostearate, Tocopheryl Acetate, Caprylyl Glycol, Phenoxyethanol, Hexylene Glycol <b>May contain: </b>(+/-) Titanium Dioxide (CI 77891), Iron Oxides (CI 77491, CI 77492, CI 77499)</i></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<img alt="AnastasiaBeverlyHillsCollage" src="https://c1.staticflickr.com/9/8396/29842982440_3ef5f5c04b_c.jpg" width="720" />
<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
In the picture above, I used the <i>Perfect Brown Pencil </i>to lightly define the shape of my brow and used the <i>Brow Powder Duo </i>to intensify the brow and give it some more dimension. I used the light color in the beginning of my brow and a mix of both colors on the rest of it. As for the <i>Brow Wiz: </i>it just isn't my thing. Personally, I find the tip too sharp and hard; the other products were just easier and more fun to work with.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
I didn't do anything with my left brow for the picture, so that you could see the difference. As you can see, my natural brows are irregular with gaps, without a defined shape and I basically hate them. I love the end result: my brow looks full, yet still natural. I've tried several products from different brands, but looked like a clown most of the time. However, I'm impressed by the <i>Anastasia Beverly Hills </i>products. The <i>Brow Powder Duo </i>is the one I prefer most: the light and dark color are perfect to build up the shade you want. </div>

I've been a little MIA lately, since I spent the last 10 days in Crete with my boyfriend (who is making his blog debut in this post, hehe). Since we both worked full time for over a year, we wanted to go on an ultimate relax holiday, so I didn't want to bother him or myself with taking pictures using my big, heavy reflex camera. I did ask him to take some pictures of my poolside and evening looks, which I posted on my <a href="http://instagram.com/Krizia_S" target="_blank">Instagram account</a> and decided to do a little recap post here on the blog.</div>

<div style="text-align: justify;">
If you follow <a href="http://instagram.com/Krizia_S" target="_blank">me on Instagram</a>, you've probably already seen that I already added the Zara ballerina to my shoe closet. I'm planning to move in with my boyfriend ASAP, so expensive shoes aren't going to be my priority for a while. Aah, the perks of being a grown up, lol. I've been eyeing the Miu Miu ballerina's for quite some time now, but I went for the Zara ones instead; they're a great interpretation of the real deal. I'm thinking about buying ribbons as well, so I can have a little DIY project.</div>

<div style="text-align: justify;">
Well, here's some news that definitely made my day: Clinique launched two new lipstick lines and they're both matte! I present you the <i>Clinique Pop Matte Matte Lip Colour + Primer </i>and the <i>Clinique Pop Liquid Matte Lip Colour + Primer</i>. Where most matte lipsticks dry your lips, both these formulas promise to nourish and hydrate them.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">

<div style="text-align: justify;">
I received a couple of lipsticks to review for you, so if you're curious to see how they look on me, click below to read more! Don't forget to share your Pop moment with the <i>#CliniquePopMatte </i>hashtag.</div>

<br />
<span style="text-align: justify;">The </span><i style="text-align: justify;">Clinique Pop Matte Matte Lip Colour + Primer </i><span style="text-align: justify;">is both a matte lipstick and primer, preventing your lips from having that dried up feeling. They are super pigmented and apply very easily, as where other matte lipsticks can be sturdy when applying sometimes. The bowed tip makes it easier to apply and to work more precisely along the edges of your lips and your cupid's bow. As for the finish, I'd say they're in between matte and creamy. The lips need some retouching after a drink or bite.</span><br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<img alt="RubyPop" src="https://c3.staticflickr.com/9/8255/29394189962_4ddb9f896c_c.jpg" width="720" />
<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<b>Ruby Pop </b>is a gorgeous classic red color with a warm undertone. Personally, I'd grab this one for both day and night, but if red is too heavy for you to wear during the day, then let me assure you: this one's perfect for a night out.</div>
<br />
<img alt="CiniqueRosePop" src="https://c2.staticflickr.com/9/8069/29422702601_854ea4bd6c_c.jpg" width="720" />
<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<b>Rose Pop </b>is a gorgeous berry-ish color and is my favorite of the bunch (beating Ruby Pop for the teeniest tiniest bit, though). </div>
<br />
<img alt="CliniqueClovePop" src="https://c5.staticflickr.com/9/8020/29394203292_eb7604bd64_c.jpg" width="720" />
<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<b>Clove Pop </b>is a brown shade and even though it's perfect for the ladies who like to keep it on the low, it's just a little bit too dull for me. It also has less coverage than the other lipsticks.</div>
<br />
<img alt="CliniqueAvantGardePop" src="https://c6.staticflickr.com/9/8280/28880608693_f9df18c333_c.jpg" width="720" />
<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<b>Avant Garde Pop</b> is a gorgeous burgundy color, which I love to wear during fall and winter. Just make sure to scrub your lips before applying this one, as it has the tendency to accentuate dry lips the most.<br />
<br /></div>
<img alt="CliniquePopMatte1" src="https://c7.staticflickr.com/9/8256/29468582726_558193b6c6_c.jpg" width="720" />
<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
The <i>Clinique Pop Liquid Matte Lip Colour + Primer</i> offers basically the same, but comes in a liquid form (obviously). It has a velvet matte finish and has a nice and gentle touch on the lips. My lips feel soft and hydrated throughout the day.K The square tap and short brush are not my favorite to work with -- I'm used long and round -- so I use a lipstick brush of my own instead. </div>
<br />
<img alt="CliniqueSweetheartPop" src="https://c1.staticflickr.com/9/8016/29394192992_ddbda73797_c.jpg" width="720" />
<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<b>Sweetheart Pop </b>is perfect is you're looking for a wearable shade, with that little extra pop. I could wear this all day and all night.</div>
<br />
<img alt="CliniqueCandiedApplePop" src="https://c8.staticflickr.com/9/8232/29502836175_6bce9db72e_c.jpg" width="720" />
<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<b>Candied Apple Pop </b>is the perfect mix between red and berry pink and even though I'm having the hardest time to pick a favorite out of these two, this one might be it. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">

You'd think you get used to seeing your face in a magazine, but it's still so surreal every time again. This time, I got featured in Sjiek magazine, to talk about my favorite sweater along with other bloggers. Fall is coming slowly, but surely, so it's always nice to get inspired on what to wear when temperatures will drop a bit. That's why I decided to translate the article for you. <a name='more'></a>You know<b> Krizia Schiavone (26) </b><i>from Maasmechelen from her blog Shark Attack, sharkattackfashionblog.com.</i><br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<i><br /></i></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<b>Where it all began: </b>"I was about 13 or 14 years old when I bought my first sweater... We received Large magazine in our mailbox every month: a catalogue from which you could order skate- and metal clothes. I was crazy about the TV program Jackass back then, so I ordered a sweater with the Jackass skull on it."</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<b>Top favorite: </b>"My favorite is this one designed by Filles à Papa: I bought it at Jeurissen Couture in Hasselt a couple of years ago. The Tomboy-slogan reflects my personal style: casual chic and a tad boyish. I rarely wear pink or other bright colors, I almost never wear jewelry and will choose sneakers over heels in most cases."</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<b>Tips from a sweater expert: </b>"I combine it in different ways: preferably with a pair of tight, leather pants and sneakers, but for a night out, I would trade my leather pants for a leather pencil skirt so I can find the balance between my feminine and tough side once again. If there's a party, I'll also wear heels. Plus, I look at celebrity sweater fans like Kylie Jenner and Sofia Richie for inspiration."</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">

<div style="text-align: justify;">
Ever since I received the '<i>Golden Sugar' Ultra Blush Palette </i>by <i>Makeup Revolution London</i>, I've been dying to show it to you. Don't let the palette's name fool you, because this gem contains more than blushes only (think: highlighters, blushes, bronzers). Plus, it's super affordable as well. I absolutely love to discover new products that do their job and on which you don't have to spend a fortune.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
I almost didn't want to review it, because I found it too pretty to use, but here I am with a new beauty post! Curious to find out more about the palette and to see the swatches? Click below for more eye candy. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<i>The Makeup Revolution London 'Golden Sugar' Ultra Blush Palette is available at all Di-stores in Belgium and sells for </i><b style="font-style: italic;">€ 7,95</b>.<br />

The outside is matte black, cardboard packaging with gold letters, giving it a sophisticated and chic look. The palette itself hides in shiny, rectangular and flat packaging. It's just the perfect size; it makes it super easy to store it, along with your other make up.</div>
<br />
<img alt="RevolutionBlushCloseUp" src="https://c7.staticflickr.com/9/8419/28280249934_2ee2466476_c.jpg" width="720" />
<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
I could stare at the <i>Golden Sugar </i>palette all day, no joke. I absolutely love the marble effect! The top and bottom left are highlighters, the top middle two are perfect blushes and the bottom middle two and top right shade will do fine as blushes / bronzers. And the bottom right is the only matte shade, which is perfect for contouring. It would have been easier to explain this if the shades all had their own name -- maybe something to think about in the future, MUR? </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Time for the swatches! I'll start at the top left and will end at the bottom right:</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<img alt="RevolutionBlush1" src="https://c3.staticflickr.com/9/8464/28792941162_d49c480c9d_c.jpg" width="720" />
<br />
A cool toned highlighter. This one doesn't apply as smoothly as the other shades.
<br />
<br />
<img alt="RevolutionBlush2" src="https://c5.staticflickr.com/9/8790/28612856220_49a572d257_c.jpg" width="720" />
<br />
A warm blush, which will give my fair skin a healthy glow.
<br />
<br />
<img alt="RevolutionBlush5" src="https://c1.staticflickr.com/9/8630/28280281024_07e15b8447_c.jpg" width="720" />
<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
A cool blush, which I'd personally use on top of another blush. I don't think that this blush alone would work well for my skin tone. </div>
<br />
<img alt="RevolutionBlush6" src="https://c7.staticflickr.com/9/8108/28792923942_ca288c33d2_c.jpg" width="720" />
<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
This shade looks somewhat ordinary at first glance, but once applied, it's absolutely gorgeous. For tanned / dark skinned girls, this warm shade will work perfectly as a highlighter or blush. As a member of the pale ones, I'm afraid I'll have to skip applying this to my face. I hope I can make it work as an eyeshadow, because it's so pretty! </div>
<br />
<img alt="RevolutionBlush7" src="https://c7.staticflickr.com/9/8615/28280268894_105d3fccc2_c.jpg" width="720" />
<br />
A warmer toned highlighter, for those who like to go for that natural glow look.
<br />
<br />
<img alt="RevolutionBlush8" src="https://c3.staticflickr.com/8/7787/28792918762_a322659015_c.jpg" width="720" />
<br />
I think this cool blush is my absolute favorite. It's perfect to blind all your haters, lol.
<br />
<br />
<img alt="RevolutionBlush9" src="https://c2.staticflickr.com/9/8703/28897555505_88ae473359_c.jpg" width="720" />
<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
A gorgeous warm blush / bronzer for the tanned and dark skinned ladies. Too bad that these type of shades don't match my pale skin <i>at all</i>, because I love this shade. </div>
<br />
<img alt="RevolutionBlush10" src="https://c3.staticflickr.com/8/7551/28792907762_b5977cf0a3_c.jpg" width="720" />
<br />
This matte shade is perfect for bronzing and contouring.
<br />
<br />
<img alt="RevolutionBlushEnd" src="https://c5.staticflickr.com/9/8845/28280226364_dcceb32dae_c.jpg" width="720" />
<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Even though it's called the <i>Ultra Blush </i>palette, I think it's hard to call it that. The palette contains highlighters, blushes and bronzers and each shade can be used for multiple purposes. I must say that this palette happily surprised me, especially since it only costs a couple of bucks. The price / quality is more than on point and I'm positive that every budget proof make up lover will be happy with this addition to her stash. </div>

<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
People who know me, also know that I'm a huge Kardashian / Jenner fan and that Kylie is my favorite of the bunch (if you're here to give me hate about it: I do <i>not</i> want to hear about it, thank you) -- I even considered getting them lips done for a second, no joke. So when Kylie announced that she would be launching her own make up line, and a lipstick line as the very first, my heart literally stopped. I desperately tried to get my hands on them for weeks, only to find out that I was too late and they were all sold out.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
That's when I started to follow several Instagram-accounts who kept an eye on restock times and posted the exact hour for each time zone. If you're interested: <a href="http://instagram.com/kylielipkitupdates" target="_blank">KylieLipKitUpdates</a> and <a href="http://instagram.com/lipkitbykylieupdates" target="_blank">LipKitByKylieUpdates</a> are my favorites. I was having a drink with my best friend and randomly checking my Instagram-feed, when I saw a post announcing that the Kylie Cosmetics restock would happen in half an hour. After 10 minutes of intense explaining on why I needed the Kylie Lip Kits in my life and begging my best friend to bring me home (not sorry, it was one of those now or never moments), I was sitting in front of my laptop and desperately clicking the refresh button for the next 15 minutes. The restock happened at the exact time they promised it would and I anxiously clicked <i>Mary Jo K</i>, <i>Posie K </i>and <i>Kourt K </i>home. They were my top 3 favorites from the beginning and I wanted to see the quality of them first, before ordering other shades as well. I quickly got a confirmation mail that they received my order and also got a tracking code, giving me very detailed information on the location of my package. They took about 2,5 weeks to get to me and I had to pay a <b>36 euros </b>custom fee, which is a lot, but I didn't really care. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
After two weeks or so, I happened to check <a href="http://kyliecosmetics.com/" target="_blank">KylieCosmetics.com</a> for no particular reason and I saw that they happened to have restocked again. <i>Skylie </i>and <i>Freedom </i>were already sold out (bummer!) and after telling my mom (and myself) that I just <i>had to</i> order again -- because what are the chances, right? -- I purchased <i>Dolce K</i>, <i>Koko K </i>and <i>Reign</i>. Plus, I also ordered another <i>Posie K </i>for a friend of mine. Again: confirmation email, waiting 2,5 weeks and my babies were home! This time, I had to pay <b>40 euro </b>for customs, though. I guess it's something to consider if you have to order Kylie Lip Kits from Europe, or outside the U.S. in general, as well. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
I've read about people not getting their complete order or having troubles with the shipping, but I'm dead honest when I say that I have no complaints what so ever on this matter. Everything was handled correctly and I'm very pleased with their service.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">

<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
First of all, I'd also want to say that I'm very pleased with the liquid lipsticks' texture. The texture's thin, making it easy to apply them nicely. After they have dried, they are as matte as a mofo and you don't feel them on your lips at all. Surviving a drink is peanuts and they only need a little retouching after a meal, which isn't any different from other liquid matte lipsticks I own. Taking them off is quite a job; I suggest using an oil based make up remover or you'll be scrubbing until the top layer of your lips comes off, no joke.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
The only thing 'bothering' me is the smell: a strong vanilla / candy like smell. If you read my beauty posts on a regular basis, you know that I'm not a big fan of strong scented products. But then again, this is a personal issue and they do the job more than well, so shut me up! </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<img alt="KylieReign" src="https://c5.staticflickr.com/9/8884/27949798964_41af3fd53e_c.jpg" width="720" />
<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<i style="font-weight: bold;">Reign </i>is a deep copper shade with a metallic shimmer and I'm absolutely loving it more than I expected! It's completely different from any other shade I own and even though I thought that it wouldn't match my skin tone, it surprisingly does. Which, of course, makes me want to order the other two metallics next time. Plus, this one comes off quite easily compared to the non-metallic, matte ones. The metallics all come as singles, without a lip pencil. </div>
<br />
<img alt="KylieDolceK" src="https://c1.staticflickr.com/9/8383/28460277312_451679a8d6_c.jpg" width="720" />
<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Next up is <b><i>Dolce K</i> </b>and I'm not sure what to think about this one. It's described as "a deep beige nude", but it looks like a mocha brown on my lips. It just doesn't seem to go well with my skin tone. I'm kinda bummed, because I loved the shade when I saw it on others. Maybe I need to combine it with another lip pencil or with some bronzer. I'm keeping this one in consideration and if not, I will keep it in my make up stash just to look at it, lol.</div>
<br />
<img alt="KyliePosieK" src="https://c3.staticflickr.com/9/8669/28460264522_41bfdae287_c.jpg" width="720" />
<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
When I first saw <i style="font-weight: bold;">Posie K</i>, I just knew I had to order it and I'm so glad I did! It's a cool, mid-tone berry shade and it's perfect for that little bit of extra on a random day. The color reminds me of MAC's <i>Soar </i>lip pencil, which was also sold out after the world found out that it was one of Kylie's favorites. I'm thinking to order a few more <i style="font-weight: bold;">Posie K </i>kits to have some stock, just in case.</div>
<br />
<img alt="KylieKokoK" src="https://c5.staticflickr.com/8/7729/27949826244_0511f040c4_c.jpg" width="720" />
<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<i style="font-weight: bold;">Koko K </i>is a pale pink color and was hard to capture on camera, since it's way more nude than it is on the picture above. I love the nude shades the Kardashians wear on their lips, but it's kind of difficult to pull them off when you're super pale as I am. However, I was pleasantly surprised when I applied <i style="font-weight: bold;">Koko K </i>-- I'll just use a little bronzer every time I want to wear it or I'll heavy my brows a bit, so that my face won't look too dull and bland.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<img alt="KylieMaryJoK" src="https://c7.staticflickr.com/9/8689/27949816334_92246f0695_c.jpg" width="720" />
<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
If it's matte, red <i>and </i>has a blue undertone, I'll love it without a doubt. This isn't any different with <i style="font-weight: bold;">Mary Jo K</i>; I absolutely love this color. It's quite similar to MAC's <i>Ruby Woo</i>, which is always a hit. To me, these kind of reds are perfect for every skin tone. Wear it to a party at night or to work during the day: you can never ever go wrong with red lips. I'm definitely stocking up on this one as well. </div>
<br />
<img alt="KylieKourtK" src="https://c5.staticflickr.com/8/7311/28534553236_2a263b8137_c.jpg" width="720" />
<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<i style="font-weight: bold;">Kourt K </i>is a deep purple and is one of those love or hate shades. Even though they make me look like a goth, I love these kind of colors, especially during winter or a night out. The only thing about these dark colors is that it's more noticeable when the inner parts of your lips start to fade -- which is inevitable after a couple of hours. Just keep the lip pencil / lipstick in your purse so that you can touch up easily and you'll be fine.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<u>Overall conclusion:</u> </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
I'm happy I decided to purchase them and apart from the strong candy scent, I'm very pleased about the quality. However, if you're living outside of the U.S., the costs may (and will) add up. It's not so that I find these lip kits a gazillion times better than other liquid matte lipsticks, so if you find a nice dupe that will save you a couple of bucks, it's more than OK to go for that one. But if you decide to take the jump and order the lip kits, you won't be disappointed, I promise.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">

<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
After weeks of grey and rainy weather, summer will finally hit Belgium this weekend! Since my skin is sensitive and well... super pale, I'd better take some precautions. I get sunburned very easily and rarely get a tan, unless I sit in the sun for hours, which just isn't worth it for me. My dermatologist told me that my skin isn't damaged by the sun on several occasions and I'm planning to keep it that way.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Clinique sent me the perfect starter kit to be safe and hydrated this summer! </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
The <i><a href="http://www.clinique.be/product/1661/40650/Solaire/Protection-solaire/SPF50-Mineral-Fluid-For-Face" target="_blank">Mineral Sunscreen Fluid For Face SPF 50</a> </i>(30 ml) sells for <b>€ 25,95</b>.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
The <i><a href="http://www.clinique.be/product/1661/41141/Solaire/Protection-solaire/SPF30-Mineral-Sunscreen-Lotion-For-Body" target="_blank">Mineral Sunscreen Lotion For Body SPF 30</a> </i>(125 ml) sells for <b>€ 25,95</b>.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
The <i><a href="http://www.clinique.be/product/1687/5089/Soins/Soins-hydratants/Moisture-Surge-Extended-Thirst-Relief" target="_blank">Moisture Surge Extended Thirst Relief</a> </i>(50 ml) sells for <b>€ 27,00</b>.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
</div>
<a name='more'></a><img alt="Clinique3" src="https://c7.staticflickr.com/8/7398/28019192182_ae1d423f76_c.jpg" width="720" />
<br />
The best and most important thing to do during hot and sunny weather is - of course - to keep your body hydrated by drinking lots of water. I must admit that I could improve myself on that matter and I'm sure that I will with this super cool personalized water bottle!
<br />
<br />
<img alt="Clinique1" src="https://c3.staticflickr.com/8/7412/28019201282_dd1e1aa42d_c.jpg" width="720" />
<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
The <i>Clinique Moisture Surge Extended Thirst Relief </i>is, without a doubt, one of my favorite Clinique products! I use it in the morning, after cleaning my face and before applying my make up, but the moisturizer is also suitable to give your skin a hydrating boost during the day by dabbing it over your make up. Or you can also use it as a facial mask by massaging it into your skin for about five minutes. The cream keeps my skin hydrated and balanced and has a super soft texture that I absolutely love.</div>
<br />
<img alt="Clinique4" src="https://c1.staticflickr.com/8/7427/28019185912_8e302605f3_c.jpg" width="720" />
<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
As I mentioned before, my skin is kinda pale and I get sunburned very easily. People who see me applying tons of sunscreen every half hour will think that I'm some kind of mad woman, but protecting my skin is more valuable to me than getting a tan (even though I do get a light glow if I'm lucky, lol). I don't only use sunscreen when I'm sitting by the pool on a holiday, but also when I go out during the day here in Belgium and it's very sunny outside. My dermatologist told me that my skin isn't damaged by the sun so far and that I should try to keep it that way; and that's exactly what I'm planning to do. That's why the <i>Mineral Sunscreen Fluid For Face SPF 50 </i>and the <i>Mineral Sunscreen Lotion For Boday SPF 30 </i>will be my sidekicks this summer. Clinique goes for the Invisible Shield Technology: they protect you against UVB rays (sunburn) and UVA rays (skin aging). It is advised to apply the sunscreen 15 minutes before going into the sun and every two hours, especially after swimming and drying yourself. Check!</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
What are your personal tips to protect yourself and your skin against the sun?</div>

Drop them in the comment box below!</div>

<span style="text-align: justify;">Busy bees at the Nivea HQs, since the skincare / beauty brand is launching yet another range of skincare products: the </span><i style="text-align: justify;">Silk Mousse</i><span style="text-align: justify;">. You can choose from three alternatives, all containing silk extract as the main ingredients, which is know for its hydrating and smoothing qualities. It provides the skin of essential proteins and creates a protecting barrier against dehydration. And last but not least: silk extract is full of antioxidants and amino acids, which looks after the renewal of the skin cells. The skin absorbs it quickly, giving it a silky smooth feeling.</span><br />

<div style="text-align: justify;">
Since my skin has the need to be a total nightmare sometimes, I'm always open to try some new products. Even though certain products from the well known skincare brands did their job well, I try not to let a familiar sounding name limit me in trying new things. That being said and the fact that I don't have that much experience with pharmaceutical brands, I was very curious to try out these two <i>Apaisac Biorga </i>goodies.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
The <i>Apaisac Biorga </i>products were developed for dry skin, sensitive skin and skin that is being treated dermatologically. Dry skin? Check! Sensitive skin? Double check! Dermatologically treated? Luckily, no. Other than the usual pimples that decide to show themselves unexpectedly, anytime, anywhere, I also have some red spots on my cheeks that seem to come and go from time to time. And the skin on my legs is insanely dry, which I'm trying to control by applying moisturizing body cream on a daily basis.</div>

<b>Ingredients:</b>
<b><br /></b>
<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<i>Aqua (Water), Glycerin, Propanediol, Caprylic / Capric Triglyceride, Dicaprylyl Ether, Xylitylglucoside, Sodium, Polyacrylate, Arachidyl Alcohol, Butyrospermum Parkii Butter, Myristyl Myristate, Oxidized Corn Oil, Anhydroxylitol, Behenyl Alcohol, Xylitol, Persea Gratissima Oil, Arachidyl Clucoside, Oryza Sative Hull Powder, Parfum, Chlorphenesin, Disodium Edta, Phytosterols, Malitol, O-Cymen-5-Ol, Glucose, Olea Eurpaea Fruit Oil, Sodium Dehydroacetate, Sodium Hyaluronate, Tocopherol, Chlorhexidine Digluconate, Glycyrrhetinic Acid, Punica Granatum Extract, Helianthus Annuus Seed oil, Sorbitan Oleate, Ascorbyl Palmitate, Tocopheryl Acetate</i></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<i><br /></i></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
I am so happy that I discovered the face cream! I apply it on my clean and dry face every morning and evening and it makes my skin feel super soft. Other than that, I also love the fact that my skin doesn't feel sticky or greasy after applying it, so I don't lose time waiting for it to be absorbed before I can do my make up. The cream also has a very subtly, flowery smell which is also a plus, since I'm not a fan of products that are scented too heavy. As for the red spots in my face: thinking that they would magically disappear would be somewhat optimistic, but I'm definitely noticing an improvement. I'm not sure how to explain it, but it seems as if the spots faded or got smaller. Also, my skin isn't as oily as it used to be. The cream seems to balance everything out. </div>

<br />
<b>Ingredients:</b><br />
<br />
<i>Aqua (Water), Sodium Laureth Sulfate, Glycerin, Decyl Glucoside, Cocamidopropyl Betaine, Sodium Chloride, PEG-8, Phenethyl Alcohol, PEG-90 Glyceryl Isostearate, Styrene/Acrylates Copolymer, Parfum (Frangrance), Ethylhexylglycerin, Sodium Hyaluronate</i>
<i><br /></i>
<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
As for the cleansing milk: I apply it all over my body while showering, let it absorb for a while and then rinse my body before stepping out of the shower. The skin on my legs, knees and elbows tends to get dry very very quickly, so I was happy to determine that this isn't the case anymore. Other than the fact that my legs are soft and hydrated from now on, I can also put on my skinny jeans immediately without experiencing that horrifying, sticky feeling.</div>

<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
I'm a 26-year-old on paper, but I'm still a kid by heart. I still remember purchasing my first pair of Vans, the well known black and white checked slip ons, in my early teens and getting mocked at school for wearing them -- only to see 5 others wear them as well a week later. And after all those years, Vans still hold a special place in my heart with their comfort and fun prints.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
The last pair of Vans that I got were the ones with the Disney princesses print and I now have my eye on another royal lady: <i>Princess Peach</i>. Vans collaborated with Nintendo and created some fun pairs with prints going from <i>Donkey Kong </i>to<i> Legend Of Zelda</i>, but growing up, I was completely hooked on <i>Super Mario Bros. </i>Weren't we all secretly wanting to be a princess with some dude trying to save us? Forget him being a plumber for a living. Just kidding! </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
I'm usually not a fan of pink, but I'm willing to make an exception for the adorable pair of sneakers in the picture above. Combine them with a simple tee and a pair of black skinny jeans and you're ready to go. Or well, at least I am. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">

<div style="text-align: justify;">
<i>The Princess Peach Vans sell for $ 65 / € 74,99</i>.</div>

<div style="text-align: justify;">
Give it to Olivier Rousteing and he'll turn it into gold. Ever since the prodigy took the lead at Balmain, he has been dressing the biggest celebrities non stop and also managed to squeeze a sold out <i>Balmain x H&M</i> collection in between. This time, Rousteing is collaborating with Nike / NikeLab and even though the collection isn't available yet, it is set to be a bestseller once again.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
For the NikeLab collection, Rousteing worked with nothing but black and gold; the black because it's timeless and chic and the gold because it symbolizes victory. Being a big football lover, it was this particular sport that became the main focus for the collection. One thing's for sure: football players never looked this good. In this post, I limited the images of the collection to my two favorite items. However, we all know that Olivier is extremely active on Instagram, so check out <a href="http://instagram.com/olivierrousteing">his Instagram account</a> for tons of images or check out <a href="http://news.nike.com/news/nikelab-olivier-rousteing">this video</a> on the Nike website. </div>

<div style="text-align: justify;">
The <i>NikeLab Free Mercurial Flyknit x OR </i>(first picture) and the <i>NikeLab Footscape Magista x OR </i>(second picture) are my absolute favorites. Even though the football vibe is clearly present, I'm totally digging them. I would wear them with a pair of black skinny jeans or leather trousers, a simple white tee and a leather jacket. And they would be perfect to complete my outfit while rooting for Italy during the European Championship this June. As for price tags: I have absolutely no idea about a price category. I'm keeping my fingers crossed and will pray that one pair of sneakers won't make me go bankrupt and that I can get my hands on a pair all together. </div>

<div style="text-align: justify;">
I solemnly swear that MAC isn't paying me to write about their lipsticks, but I can't resist all their collabs. MAC and Brooke Candy are collaborating for the second time and I ordered some goodies online. Even though her collection goes from nail polishes to eyeliners, I 'only' got two lipsticks and a lip pencil. The two lipsticks I got are <i>Witching Hour </i>and <i>Doowop</i> and the lipliner is called <i>Night Crawler</i>.</div>

<br />
The lipsticks come in silver bullets with black and grey splatters on them, which gives them an edgy touch. The same goes for the lip pencil. I love these limited edition packagings, since you don't have to go through your complete stash to find the lipstick you want. These pop out immediately.
<br />

<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<i>Doowop </i>is a bright pink / magenta / fuchsia lipstick with a blue undertone. Even though MAC described it as a matte lipstick, it has a satin finish. The picture above was taken after biting into a tissue. I used MAC's <i>Candy Yum Yum </i>lip pencil to outline my lips and for touch ups. </div>
<br />
<img alt="MACxBrookeCandy4" src="https://farm8.staticflickr.com/7662/26270018693_b7413d2306_c.jpg" width="720" />
<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<i>Witching Hour </i>is a rich, deep purple color, which is perfect for winter or for a night out. It also has a satin kinda finish - even though it's labeled as a matte lipstick - (why MAC? WHY?) and I have to say that it doesn't apply evenly if you're only applying the lipstick. It leaves some gaps here and there. However, it's an amazing color if you fill in the lips with a matching lip pencil first, like I did in the picture above. In this case, I used <i>Night Crawler</i>, of course -- and it seems to be the perfect match. </div>

<div style="text-align: justify;">
I'm not one to follow the trends, but you know I'm a huge Kardashian / Jenner-fan (don't hate, okay?). So when I saw Kim and North flaunting their boxer braids on Instagram, I had to try them myself. Boxer braids are - hence the name - popular with female boxers when they're about to step in the ring and beat the shit out of somebody: no locks of hair clenched to your sweaty forehead or blocking your view and the braids look fierce as well.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
There are various takes on this hairdo, but I decided to go for the classic boxer braids first (see above). Did I mention that you get a facelift for free? Getting the braids isn't painless, especially if they start pulling on those baby hairs, but I received <i>so</i> many compliments. Plus, it's the perfect alternative for those who'd like to try something different, but aren't willing to go drastic at once.<br />
<br />

<div style="text-align: justify;">
Some of you might be tired of the MAC overdose on the blog, but I just can't help it. With every collaboration launched, they nail it once again. When I heard that designer Charlotte Olympia was up next to create a MAC make up collection, I knew it would be good. Trying to prevent myself from going bankrupt, I only purchased the lipsticks (even though her collection contains make up brushes, eyeliners, mascaras, nail polishes and much more); they are red and matte, what more do I need?</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">

The outer box is super cute, with tiny drawings all over it. The lipsticks come in a packaging that is completely different than MAC's signature black, round tube. These are square and see through, with a golden tube for a little glamorous touch. The packaging makes it perfect to find the shade your looking for in just a couple of seconds. It also features Charlotte Olympia's signature spider web. </div>

<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
The lipsticks' quality is how I expected MAC's lipsticks to be: perfect. They have awesome pigmentation and coverage. However, they are not as matte as I expected them to be; I would describe them as semi-matte. When exposed to sunlight, the lipsticks have a shimmery touch. The lipsticks stay in place for a couple of hours straight and will also survive a bite to eat or a drink.</div>

<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<i>Retro Rouge </i>is a brown / red, burgundy kinda color with warm undertones. Personally, I would rather wear this color during fall and winter. I paired it with MAC's <i>Burgundy </i>lip pencil to outline my lips and to do some touch ups.</div>

<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<i>Starlett Scarlet </i>is a classic, true red with an orange touch and with warm undertones. I usually wear darker red lipsticks with a cool undertone, but I must say that I really fancy this color. I combined it with MAC's <i>Redd </i>lip pencil to outline my lips and to do some touch ups. </div>

<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
It was hard to capture <i>Leading Lady Red </i>on camera, since it seems to resemble <i>Starlett Scarlet </i>so much. As where <i>Starlett Scarlet </i>has an orange tone to it, <i>Leading Lady Red </i>is more of a deep red with a pinkish, cool undertone. This is one of those classics that you can't go wrong with and I think it's my favorite from this collection. I combined it with MAC's <i>Ruby Woo </i>lip pencil to outline my lips and to do some touch ups.</div>

<i>* This give away is only for my Belgian readers.*</i></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">

<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<div style="text-align: justify;">
- Laat ook je naam en email adres achter, zodat ik je gemakkelijk kan contacteren.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
En dat is het! Ik maak de winnaar op 1 april 2016 bekend (en nee, het is geen grapje) en zal hem / haar persoonlijk via mail contacteren. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Succes!</div>
