Outfit // Instagram Looks

InstagramLook1
I'M WEARING:

PRADA sunglasses // H&M shirt // BERSHKA jeans // FENTY x PUMA slippers // YVES RENARD bag // ROLEX watch

A different type of outfit post, since I'm still (ugh) struggling to juggle the blog, a full time job, a household and my social life. Here are some snaps of my outfit that my boyfriend took in between and that I uploaded on my Instagram-account. Apart from the last couple of days, the weather has been good to us in Belgium.

It has been raining cats and dogs now, but the sun should come out again this weekend -- which is great news, since I'll be attending Tomorrowland this Friday. Who else will be there? My mind has been going overdrive on which outfit to wear, though. I still haven't decided, so a little help is always appreciated. Tell me, what's your favorite go to outfit for a festival?

Let me know!

Kiss!

We've been experiencing and Indian summer here in Belgium -- 22°C, yay! I thought it would be the perfect opportunity to wear this adorable blouse for the first time. I love how the bunny-in-the-hat-print screams 'cute' and the transparency adds some 'sexy'. Plus, the back adds another unexpected twist. Even though the Converse sneakers aren't the exact same color as the blouse, I think they still go well together. What about you, guys?

The jeans are my new love. My body shape makes it incredibly hard to find well fitting trousers. So when I found these super skinny jeans at H&M, I was over the moon. I think about buying some more of these, just in case H&M decides to take them out of the stores.

And last but not least: I'm so sorry for the never changing background. I'm relying on my mom as my photographer and as a working woman, she doesn't always have the time to go to a nice location to shoot. Nope, I'm not one of those bloggers with an awesome photographer boyfriend, but I think my mom does her job equally well.

You can find the blouse here and the dress version on the Belgian web shop Munt Fashion here.

New // Converse All Stars 'Ox Maroon'

 photo DSC03637_zps0cd48f61.jpg
Please welcome the newest pair of shoes in my closet: Converse All Stars in 'Ox Maroon'. I can already hear you think: "*Yawn* All Stars, big deal." Anyway, when I was allowed to choose a pair of sneakers on Size.co.uk, I didn't hesitate for a second and immediately clicked these babies home. Kudos for the website's customer service: after a mix up with the size - I accidentally received a pair sized too big - I immediately got sent a new, right sized pair just a few days after. No hard questions, suspicious behavior or extra fees: I emailed my problem and it was solved, simple as that. I rarely order online myself, since I'm always too scared of my order going missing or ordering something that doesn't fit, but I must admit that the awesome service took some of my doubts away. Shark Attack Travels // Ascoli Piceno: Lost Count

 photo DSC01562_zps682df022.jpg
Sooo, this happened during my holiday here in Italy. Remember my previous post, where I told you I was meeting up with 2 friends from Belgium? Something funny happened that night and while we were still laughing about it, I slipped and broke my ankle. Apparently, I can't laugh and walk at the same time. I was wearing my Chloé Susan boots and it's actually the second time I fell while wearing them, because the sole is so slippy. I definitely learned my lesson. Should I sue them? Just kidding, because I love those shoes to death. The first thing I thought was: "Oh my God, are my Chloé shoes okay???" Until my friend asked me: "Are you in pain?" And I was like: "Yeah, acutally I am!"

The picture above was taken right before I went to the hospital. I got all dressed up, explaining to my mom that I might bump into a Dr. McDreamy or Dr. McSteamy. Well, that didn't happen and we ended up sitting in the First Aid waiting room from 10.30 am 'till 6 pm. Italian hospitals are the worst and you have to pray that you don't end up there during your holiday. I rented some crutches and a wheel chair, but the doctor told me to stay inside and keep my leg still. That's why, as stated in this post's title, I lost count of which day we are today. Anyway, here are some snaps of when I was being a rebel and went outside.

HAPPY 27th BIRTHDAY TO MY SISTER!!! LOVE YOU!

Outfit // Repeat Offender

Yes... I'm wearing the same T-shirt and trousers as in my previous post. I never understood bloggers who have a 'wear it once and never wear it again'-policy. Like, I paid 195 euros for this T-shirt. So hell yes, I'm going to wear it 'till there's nothing left of it. And a pair of Converse, a long coat and a hat really can change an outfit, don't ya think?

The coat was a birthday gift from my dad. Every time winter is coming, he starts complaining about the fact that I don't own a proper winter coat -- which is true, but I just don't like winter clothes. They make me feel trapped. Anyway, after hearing it ONCE AGAIN, I told him: "Then you buy me one." We made a stop at Zara and after scanning the store, I spotted this coat. I knew this was da one. The leather details add that rock 'n roll touch that I love. I must admit that winter clothes aren't so bad after all, 'cause this coat's actually kinda cosy and warm.

Anyway, my mom and I shot these pictures in literally 3 minutes and I loved them all. I had a hard time selecting my favorite pictures and not creating a picture overload - thinking: if Chiara is allowed to post a dozen of pictures, then so am I - but I think I did a nice job after all.

Outfit // Tell Me About It, Stud

Frenchy: "Hey Marty, are those new glasses?"
Marty: "Oh yeah, I just got them for school. Don't you think they make me look smarter?"
Rizzo: "Nah, you can still see your face."

As I told you in my previous post, this dress reminds me of 'Grease', one of my favorite movies of all times. Hair in a bun, some low Converse All Stars and my oversized Prada sunnies did the trick... For me, at least. These pictures were taken in about 3 minutes, in between the rain falling down every now and then today. What do you think? Too bad I couldn't find a Danny Zuko lookalike, that would've nailed it.

I'm mentally preparing for the game tonight: Italy vs. Ireland. Actually, it's Spain vs. Croatia that I'm more worried about, since Italy's fate depends on their score. I guess I just have to try and make peace with the Italians getting kicked out of the European Championship. #Sniff

Outfit // Blue Jeans, Blue Shirt

Photobucket
The weather has been amazing lately, which gave me the perfect opportunity to try out my new goodies I purchased during the last few days. Today's planning? Working for school. I have to hand in my internship portfolio on the 4th of July, which is also the day I have my exam. And I have some business jobs for the blog in between, such as giving styling tips at a huge BMW event on Friday and being the ambassador for the Magnum Pleasure Hunt on Saturday. I'm stressed out, anxious and all synonyms possible, but I'm also extremely grateful for all the wonderful opportunities this blog has given me, so I'm not going to complain too much.

Since I'm stuck inside, I opted for a casual outfit today: tank top, shorts and sneakers. A classic combo that you hardly can go wrong with. The Zara shirt was perfect to spice it just a bit more and even though the shirt probably isn't meant to be worn this way, I like the result. What do you think? :)

And yes, I'm pale... And loving it. I'll never get a tan - even though I did when I was a kid - so I'm not going to damage my skin by sitting in the sun like a baked potato. I'd rather choose paleness over a guidette look.

New // Black Low Converse

Photobucket
Oops, I did it again ... After already owning high black Converse - worn them to death, they even have holes in them -, a pair of Converse with the American Flag print ànd a pair of customized Converse sneakers, I realized that there was still one crucial pair missing: the low Converse sneakers. I find them more feminine than the high ones and since I'm a lady ... I decided to get them. I was doubting between the black and the blue ones, but you know me ... I have a soft spot for black. They're a size 39 and even though a 38,5 would've been better (sold out, sniff) they still fit me well. I don't have a problem buying shoes that are a bit too small - beauty before comfort, right? - so who cares if they're a bit too big? I know, I'm totally making up excuses to justify this purchase, but Converse sneakers are classics and you can never have too many classics, right?

Anywaysss, I can't wait to start wearing them with a pair of shorts, with my leather trousers or with a cute, girly dress. I've spotted some bloggers with low Converse sneakers as well, so if you click below, you can find my top 3. :)

What's your opinion on Converse sneakers?
Do you find them classics, like me, or do you find them boring, cliché and just a bit too old school to wear them nowadays?

New // Customized Converse All Stars

Photobucket
OMG! How cool are these customized Converse All Stars? They used to be classic white ones, but my mom got them customized at the Converse shop in Maasmechelen Village today. I absolutely love them. My mom knows that I want to get a pink dip and dye for my hair as soon as my internship ends (and I don't really care that tons of bloggers and non-bloggers have it by now), so why not get pink dip and dye Converse sneakers too? The fact that 'Shark Attack' is written on the sides makes it even better.
I can't wait to take these babies out for a spin. Thanks, Mom! You're the best!

Are you fancying a customized pair as well? Just plan a trip to Maasmechelen Village on the 13th, 18th, 19th or 20th of May, bring along €60 to get your pair of white Converse All Stars and last, but not least: don't forget your creativity!

Outfit // Studying

Photobucket
A lot of you asked me when I would post an outfit with my new Isabel Marant Renell Jeans. The truth
is that I have to get them tailored first. I want them tighter around the waist and ankles -- Just a little bit of patience, sweets. ;)

This outfit was probably inspired by the fact that I have to study for my exams, which will start on the 19th of January. The grey sweater was a Christmas gift from my mom. It actually glitters, but it was kinda hard to capture that on camera. I like the fact that it's longer on the back and shorter in the front. It gives that little extra touch. I added the Peter Pan-collar and for that extra 'nerdy student'-effect and decided to wear my Converse All Stars, since I'm stuck inside.

Never mind the zombie like face ... I've been feeling under the weather for the past two days -- My throat and muscles hurt. I hope I won't come down with the flu or something, that would be the worst timing ever.

For my readers who have to study too: I feel ya, sistahs! Good luck!
For my readers who don't have to study: Lucky you. ;)

Have a nice day, y'all!
