Outfit // Golden

No, your eyes aren't deceiving you: I posted a new outfit. I know it's been forever, but I wasn't feeling too comfortable in my own skin for quite some time and also had a gazillion brainstorming sessions about my blog and which direction I'd like to take it. See it as a fresh start for the new year, which started very well for me already: I was invited to give a lecture about my blog to a group of college students. I'd never done such a thing before and it was kind of a big deal for me, but it all went well, thank God! I also dyed my hair blonde. My dad hated it, so I decided to go even blonder. You know me, always such a rebel, lol.

As for the outfit: I'm usually not a fan of winter clothes, but when I spotted this asymmetric turtleneck sweater dress at Zara, I decided to give it a try. Plus, it's the perfect match for my new Chanel booties that I finally got to wear. The golden touches give it the look a little extra. I hope you're not tired of my Boy bag yet, because I'm still totally in love with it. Oh, and I'm kinda digging the gloomy vibe in the pictures as well.

New // Fendi Bag Bug

First of all: merry Christmas! I wish you all the best in the world and hope that all of your wishes come true. And I hope that you got to spend the holidays with all of your loved ones. Lots of hugs and kisses for all of you!

Meet Marshmellow, my new best friend. I got to know him at the Fendi store in Rome, but we didn't  get to hang out until Christmas. I was eyeing these bag bugs for a while now and got to choose one as a Christmas present. They are one of those love or hate items, I know. Anyway, Marshmellow and I are besties already and he and my Boy are inseparable as well.

Outfit // Take Two

Take one: wearing this shirt with no belt, with a pair of black skinny jeans and my grey Isabel Marant sneakers.

Take two: enter belt and boot, exit Isabel Marant sneakers (I still love you, babies).

That moment when you're wearing an outfit you think looks fabulous on you, decide to shoot it, look at the pictures and think: "Dude, WTF happened?" That's exactly what happened when I was wearing the first outfit. Such a bummer though, because I shot that particular outfit during a shopping trip to Maastricht, meaning that I finally switched locations and therefore had a different, non-bricked background for a change. #FirstClassProblems

As for the hair... I wanted to go back to blonde and I don't know what the hell that hairdresser was sniffing on, but it turned out this ginger / copper / I don't know-kinda color. Not exactly what I signed up for, but hey, it's just hair. Cut it off, it'll grow back. Dye it and don't like it, just dye it again. 

And as for the lipstick: probably my new favorite. It's called 'Flat Out Fabulous' and it's by MAC. Plus, it's not red! *Shocker* But it's a nice change and it's matte -- I love matte lipstick.

Outfit // Voodoo Child

Well, nothing new to say about this outfit. Most of you know that I'm a sucker for band shirts, so when I saw this one at the H&M men's department, I had to get it. To make something clear: I do love and listen to all the bands that are pictured on my shirts. I'm allergic to people who wear band shirts of one of my favorite bands and that can't name even one song. 

Another fact: I love blue and gold combos. I thought it would be fun to add some bold jewelry and a classic bag to this rather casual outfit.

Sorry for the awkward poses, but it was freezing when we shot these pictures.
