Flower Power
Today's weather is great,
I had breakfast outside this morning and spent most of the day enjoying the sun.
Well, in the shadow actually, since my skin gets irritated quickly and I hardly get a tan. :D
I decided to wear this flower-printed top that I own for several years now,
I think it's perfect for summer.
The shoes are from Zara and I thought that they matched the outfit well,
even if the green isn't the same as my top.
They are amazingly comfortable!
The headband is from Swarovski and was a gift from my mom.
I was watching a TV-show, and a girl was wearing the headband in almost all episodes.
I kept on babbling on how much I liked that headband and she bought it for me.
It's just too bad that it always shoves back.
Anyone got any tips how to keep such a headband in place???

Black And White Nerd
I went shopping with my mom and my sister at Maastricht yesterday.
I love to hang out with them, we always have fun.
The driver of the day was ... ME! :D
When I asked my sister if she felt safe with me driving, she immediately said: 'No!'.
Whenever we are in Maastricht, we always go to a small store called Depeche.
They have the coolest items!
I remember going there when I was little - my aunt is addicted to that store and she passed that addiction over to me.
I found this 'Chanel-shirt' there.
I thought it was funny, since there isn't a Chanel-store located at 5th Avenue (If you don't count Chanel at Saks, that is).
The glasses are also a purchase from Maastricht.
I've been wanting these glasses for a while now, but I never found them in the right size.
Until yesterday! :D
My friends were making fun of me when I was wearing them, but I don't care.
Got to save my money now, though.
My boyfriend and I both got days off from work from the 9th until the 19th of July,
and we want to go on a vacation.
I'm going to look at the options in about an hour with my dad,
since my boyfriend is working until 6 p.m.

The Sun Is Shining...
So I'm in a very good mood.
Not only because of the weather, but also due to the fact that I got my driver's license yesterday!
I really had to pass, because my temporary license would expire next month.
I'm going to pick up my best friend later - I'm sure it will be pretty hilarious. :D
I just wanted to show you my outfit that I'm wearing today.
I really love the combination of the black, short vest and the white t-shirt with the big black crown.

P.S.: Thanks for all the comments on my previous posts!
It's nice to see that people like and appreciate what I write and post here!
P.P.S.: Yes, I'm missing a button, I know. :D

Gifts from New York City
My sister got back from New York City this morning, and so also did my YSL Arty Oval-ring.
I absolutely love it, and I won't take it off anymore. :D
Even though I got the largest size, it's still tight, but I don't care - I'm so happy!
My sister also got me the Chanel tattoos, which was a nice surprise too.
I just hope I can apply them from the first time, without ruining them.
I quickly took some pictures - I have a lot to do today.

The Sartorialist-meeting: Outfit
Here are some pictures of my outfit during the blogger meeting with
The Sartorialist at Maasmechelen Village.
They were taken by David of Dutch Streetstyle, while we were waiting
for Scott Schuman to arrive.
David just mailed them to me, and I love them.
Thanks, David!

Finally Mine!
I wanted to wait with writing this post until I had IT officially in my hands,
but I'm so happy that I just have to tell you...
I finally have the YSL Oval Arty-ring!
I know, a lot of people have that ring, but I don't really care.
I've always loved big, chunky jewelry, so it was love at first sight when I saw this ring.
The thing I didn't really love, was the search for the ring:
- Sold out at Net A Porter.
- Not sold out at Saks, but they didn't ship it to Belgium.
- No YSL-stores or distributors around.
I can tell you that it was REALLY frustrating.
But then I heard that my sister and brother-in-law were going to New York,
and I immediately gave them some orders for the first day they would be there (which was yesterday):
'You must go to Saks, Bergdorf Goodman, Henry Bendel and the YSL-store (of course) as soon as you arrive in NYC.'
I literally drove them crazy - I kinda feel bad about it now...
Well, yesterday I got the message that the dark blue YSL Oval Arty-ring was officially mine!
My brother-in-law even posted a teaser picture of the ring on my Facebook to drive me even more crazy. :)
So, you probably can imagine that I'm all smiles now, and not to mention also very impatient.
The search is finally over!
Of course, I'll post other pictures as soon as I have my baby, which will probably be next Friday.
So, to my sister and brother-in-law:
Thank you so much. The effort you guys did really means a lot to me!
I love you both!

Under The Weather
From wearing a jumpsuit yesterday, I'm wearing jeans and a half-sleeved shirt today.
The weather has changed drastically compared to yesterday:
cloudy and grey.
I decided to match my outfit with the weather (and the interior of my house, I just realized),
adding some grey details.
My sister is in New York City right now - so jealous! - so I decided to take her anthracite
Balenciaga-bag out for a spin.
It has been tucked away for way too long!

The Jumpsuit
The weather is great today, which sometimes is a rarity here in Belgium.
I decided to take advantage and to wear the jumpsuit I got from my aunt a while ago.
It's very comfortable, I love to wear it.
I usually wear the jumpsuit with some flats, but I decided to take out my Marni-shoes.
I should wear them more often, but I'm always so afraid I'll ruin them.
They're not the most comfortable shoes ever, but I love them.
And, my mom is always saying:
If you want to look pretty, you have to suffer sometimes.
I'm also wearing a vintage Gucci-watch, which used to belong to my grandfather.
He traded this watch for another, since his eyesight isn't that great anymore
and he was having too much trouble reading the time from this one.
P.S.: My cat decided to join me when I was taking these pictures. :D

Debuting The Jacket.
I had my history exam today, and it was absolutely brutal!
Last night, I studied until about 11.30 pm, and I got up at 6 a.m. to check my notes again.
And still, I don't have a good feeling about it - I guess I just have to wait and see!
My next exam isn't until next week, so I have a couple of days to breathe again.
When I got home from school, I decided it was time to show you a jacket that I
have for a while, but never made it to the blog.
Why? I don't know, because I love this jacket!
I found it at Pinko quite some time ago, and I just had to have it.
I'm attracted to pretty much everything that glitters, and this jacket wasn't an exception.
I love, love, love the laced pattern and the rhinestones.
It is delicate to wear the jacket though, since the stones and embellishment do
come off quickly.
I didn't wear this jacket to school, because the weather was terrible this morning.
But it's getting better now, which is a perfect opportunity to wear it!

Shark Attack for Chicisimo: Interview
Hi everyone!
A while ago, Maria from Chicisimo emailed me with the question
if I would like to do an interview for Chicisimo.
(Thanks again, Maria!)
I've been on Chicisimo for a while now, and I love the concept.
You can upload your own outfits,
but you can also have a look at outfits from girls all over the world.
It's a nice way to get inspired, or to discover new blogs.
Be sure to pay a visit!
When I got the email,
I must admit that I didn't know what to expect.
I've never done anything like this before, which you can probably tell from watching the interview.
I was so nervous!
Also, I live in an area where we get laughed at the way we talk.
People from other parts of Belgium always say we talk slow,
and that we 'sing' while we talk.
Now that I've heard myself on video, I can only say that they are right! :D
I've been studying all day now, and this is a great surprise to light up my day!
That's the reason why I didn't upload any outfits the last few days.
I'm busy with studying and school every day now. :(
My exams are over soon, and then, like The Terminator used to say:
I'll be back!
P.S.: I would like to thank my sister and my brother-in-law for
helping me do this interview / video.
You guys are the best!
P.P.S: To watch the video on Chicisimo, click here.
There are some questions that I answered by email,
and the answers are up there too!

Lady Gaga & Her Birkin Bag: Part 3
I already wrote 2 posts on Lady Gaga and her Hermès Birkin-bag.
Remember how she wrote a message for her Japanese fans on her
white Birkin-bag and how a lot of girls were angry at her for doing that?
The price tag, the (currently no longer existing) waiting list ...
I think you get it.
Here's a picture of Lady Gaga and her black Birkin-bag.
She really has a thing for customizing her things, and I don't really blame her.
I kind of like the studded Birkin-bag, it suits her well.
I'm still figuring out how she's able to walk on those shoes, though...
What do you think? Like it or not?

Sex And The City 2
A couple of days ago,
my mom, my sister, Hille (a friend of mine) and I went to the
'Ladies Night' at our local theatre to finally watch 'Sex And The City 2'.
It was funny to see how al of the sudden, girls pulled out their most 'fabulous'
outfits to go the movies.
There were some activities going on before the movie started, like different brands
that showed their products.
You could buy something if you wanted.
There also was a contest where you could win a prize, and guess what...
I won a purse. :D
Not something I would buy myself, but the bag isn't that bad.
I must say that I found the movie quite disappointing...
I already read a lot of negative reviews, but I kept hoping that they would
somehow be wrong (silly me!).
Too much babble about Mr. Big and his couch / flat screen!
I also found the movie being too long, some scenes were unnecessary.
But that's just my personal opinion!
To me, the 'action' somewhat began when Carrie and Aidan kissed.
My favourite scene in the movie,
was when Liza Minelli started to dance and sing to Beyoncé's 'Single Ladies'.
I really liked Samantha's red dress with the diamond spikes on her shoulders.
Rihanna also wore it - Lucky her!
Does anyone know who designed it?
I can't seem to find it on the net!
*UPDATE* Judith from Couture informed me that the dress is from a brand called 'The Blonds'.
I've never heard of it,
and it's nice to discover new brands or designers.
Thanks, Judith!

Sorry for the lack of posts but...
I've been sick as hell!
Symptoms?
- High fever.
- A soar throat - I can only eat yoghurt for the moment.
- The soar throat also makes my ears hurt.
- My back hurts - No idea where that came from.
- No energy at all!
Consequences?
- Sleeping two days straight.
- The doctor had to come to my house. - Thank God he lives just across the street!
- Taking antibiotics - Those pills are huge. They go great with a soar throat. *sarcasm
- Not being able to study for two days and I have exams coming up.
I've picked up studying again, even though I still feel like *tuut*,
but I really have no other choice.
P.S. My friend Katerina has started her on blog, mostly on make-up.
She calls herself a MAC-aholic. :D
Every girl likes make-up, so check out her blog.
She makes great tutorials on how to apply make-up!

Chanel Nouvelle Vague
I've finally got the chance to paint my nails with Chanel's Nouvelle Vague.
Every 3 weeks I go to a friend of mine to get a manicure, and she does a great job every time.
Up until 2 hours ago, my nails were gold, as you can see in this post.
Not anymore!
I really love the Nouvelle Vague - It really has something fresh.
(It sounds weird, I know!)
The effort my sister had to do to get her hands on it, probably has something to do with that too. ;)
You're probably wondering why I just didn't change my nailpolish, instead of waiting 3 weeks.
Well, when my friend puts on nail polish, she also puts a transparent layer over it,
so that the nail polish stays nice and pretty.
I tried to apply nail polish myself a couple of times, but within 5 minutes my nails were already ruined!
I'm off watching some Gossip Girl episodes, eating a Magnum Gold!
Gosh, I wish Benicio Del Toro himself would come and give it to me. :D
Interview for Jim TV: The Sartorialist
When my sister and I had the honour to meet Scott Schuman / The Sartorialist,
Jim TV asked my sister if she would like to interview him.
Of course, you can't say no to that!
I've found the video on YouTube, and I wanted to share it with you.
My sister was allowed to interview him for about 10 minutes,
but they only discuss one question here.
The girl standing next to my sister is Patricia, she's also a blogger!
You can see me around the '50 seconds mark,
listening intensely with my notebook in my hand. :D
The girl with the black hair sitting next to me is, of course, my sister.
And the boy sitting on my right is Immanuel from Style 4 Guys.
Enjoy!
