Outfit // Crazy Cat Lady

DSC05192
I hope you all had a lovely Christmas Eve and Christmas Day with your family and friends! I did nothing but eat for the past two days, so I took a day off to rest a bit today, héhé. This is what I wear when I'm 'off duty': tanktops, leggings, knitted vests... I'd probably wear a similar outfit to the gym too, if I would actually go for once.

Can you tell how much I love cats, by the way? My own kitty cat has been with us for 13 years now and he's been a bit under the weather lately. He's been diagnosed with diabetes and we're trying to find a solution to give him the necessary insulin shots (without getting our arms and faces scratched open). I can't wait to wear the 'Crazy Cat Lady' tank top with a lace bra underneath during summer. It's by Skip 'n Whistle, a brand from New Orleans that produces eco friendly shirts. And how cool are these leggings? I saw a picture of similar ones on Tumblr a long time ago and I'm glad to finally have them. Plus, they're super warm, perfect for winter.

The book I'm reading is called 'Life After Death' by Damien Echols and I think I've already read it about 4 times. It definitely is one of my favorites. I'm not going to go into detail about it, but you should definitely read it. It will definitely put your life into perspective and show you that you should  cherish the little things in life, how cliché it may sound. Plus, it will make you think twice about complaining about random things.

Plus, I have a nice late Christmas surprise for you:
you get a 10% discount at Born Pretty Store if you enter the code KST10 at the payment section.

Outfit // Oh Crêpe!

 photo DSC03513_zps2ef488fc.jpg
October's first outfit post is finally up! I love October and can't wait for Halloween to arrive. I think that I'll dress up as Eric Draven a.k.a. The Crow this year. Leather pants? Check! White shirt? Check! All I need is black lipstick and I'm all set. Who / What will you be this year?

I found this T-shirt at H&M and I had to explain the 'Oh crêpe / Oh crap'-meaning far too many times. Is the hidden joke so hard to understand? Anyway, new items are meant to be worn, so here you go. It seems as if the shoes have shrunk two sizes -- pain! And the cap is the perfect accessory for that extra touch; and to cover up a bad hair day. At first I thought it would be too much with a slogan on the shirt ànd on the cap, but I'm really digging the result. Casual chic, loving it!

Outfit // Pop Of Color

Photobucket
Today's gloomy weather 'inspired' me to add a pop of color to my outfit. I think my new Alexander McQueen scarf does a great job. Other things that inspired me for this outfit? Michael Jackson, my mafia infected Italian blood (just kiddin') and maybe - just maybe - Clémence Poésy in the picture I posted in my previous post. My mom kept complaining that my eyes weren't visible because of the hat, but I kinda like the effect. :)

As for the shoes ... Did I already tell you how much I love them? I just found out that my friend Tiany from Belmodo.tv has found a pair of the real Chloé Susan boots in New York and I'm freakin' jealous! I'm probably gonna scream / faint / ... when I'll see them on her.

Event // Tiany Kirilove for Vero Moda - Part 2

Photobucket
Remember when I went to the Tiany Kirilove for Vero Moda presentation the first time?
Well, the Fall/Winter 2011 collection was such a success, that Vero Moda teamed up with Belgium's prima fashionista Tiany Kiriloff again. The presentation of the Spring/Summer 2012 collection took place at the Belmodo HQ yesterday and I must admit that I like this collection way more than the first one. Wanna see some party pictures and images of the collection?

Outfit // Studying

Photobucket
A lot of you asked me when I would post an outfit with my new Isabel Marant Renell Jeans. The truth
is that I have to get them tailored first. I want them tighter around the waist and ankles -- Just a little bit of patience, sweets. ;)

This outfit was probably inspired by the fact that I have to study for my exams, which will start on the 19th of January. The grey sweater was a Christmas gift from my mom. It actually glitters, but it was kinda hard to capture that on camera. I like the fact that it's longer on the back and shorter in the front. It gives that little extra touch. I added the Peter Pan-collar and for that extra 'nerdy student'-effect and decided to wear my Converse All Stars, since I'm stuck inside.

Never mind the zombie like face ... I've been feeling under the weather for the past two days -- My throat and muscles hurt. I hope I won't come down with the flu or something, that would be the worst timing ever.

For my readers who have to study too: I feel ya, sistahs! Good luck!
For my readers who don't have to study: Lucky you. ;)

Have a nice day, y'all!

Outfit // Peter Pan

Photobucket
Wearing a Peter Pan-collar and a Tinkerbell-bun -- I got my clothing and hair inspiration from my two favorite characters out of one of the best Disney-movies ever. The sun is still shining these days, giving me the chance to wear this shirt designed by my friend and co-blogger Tiany Kiriloff. This shirt was one of the first items that caught my eye when I had the opportunity to have a preview at her collection last spring.

If it weren't for the cute collar and color, I'm not sure if I would have bought it. I also bought it in white, which is a basic item that goes with almost everything and will never ever go out of style. Because of the popping color of the shirt, I decided to keep the rest of the outfit simple.

Outfit // Knitted

DSC05654
I finally got my hands on this knitted cardigan, designed by my friend and co-blogger Tiany Kiriloff. Some of you may remember Shark Attack attending the preview event of the Tiany Kirilove for Vero Moda-collection. This cardigan immediately caught my eye that day, and I'm glad to own it now. I'm usually not a big fan of winter clothes at all - and I don't own that many either - so this cardigan is a great addition to my winter closet.

The Aerosmith band shirt is one of my purchases during the Forever 21 store preview last week. I'm such a sucker for band shirts and every time I see one of my favorite bands, I must have it.

P.P.P.P.S.: I have some serious issues when it comes to selecting pictures... Just so you know and you can't say I didn't warn you when you see another picture overload.
