Event // Eleonora Carisi For Zalando

ECfZ_UPR (13)
Last week, the ever so sweet people at UPR and Zalando invited me to discover their newest collection, an offspring from the collaboration between blogger / it-girl Eleonora Carisi and Zalando. I hadn't attended an event for ages, the first images looked very promising and I had to miss my blogger friends for way too long; the perfect mix to get me going. Most events take place an hour drive away from my home town, so it's not always practical nor easy for me to attend them.

The event took place at Nomad in Antwerp. Time? 9 am. Auch! Getting up at 6 am wasn't an option (unless you want to meet some cranky b*tch), so I decided to crash at Michel and Bart's house the night place -- They're really good friends of mine and they live in Antwerp. Thanks again for the fun night, guys! Love you!

Anyway, UPR and Zalando organized a healthy breakfast for us bloggers, at which we could enjoy the great food, the lovely collection and cosy scenery (read: huge plants and trees in a tiny location). Eleonora Carisi is all about nature, which shows in the 9 piece collection she designed for Zalando: the print is a green leaves overload and the collection is made from silk, cotton and organza. You can check out the whole collection on Eleonora's own blog here.

Cutting it short: I had a blast with my fellow bloggers, binged on all the delish food and really loved the collection, even though I always thought that I'd never like the color green. Thumbs up!

The Eleonora Carisi For Zalando collection will be available from March (which is, like, now) and you can get it here. Please note that the collection is made from pretty things such as silk, cotton and organza, so the prices are adjusted to that fact. But remember: you get an eye catching statement piece in return!

New // Jeffrey Campbell 'Wordz' Sneakers

 photo DSC02065_zps64cec86f.jpg
First of all, I'd like to apologize for the absence on the blog. They removed the plaster about 10 days ago and I've been taking advantage of my regained freedom to the fullest. Going out with my friends and family, driving my car again... The little things in life. My ankle isn't 100 % healed; it's still swollen and it hurts if I walk too long. The fact that I can't wear heels just yet kindled a strange interest in sneakers. So when Zalando offered me to pick out something out of their ridiculously huge collection, the choice was already kinda made.

I set my eyes on these dope Jeffrey Campbell-sneakers and immediately clicked them home. I rarely order things online. There's always a worst case scenario going on in my head: online shops trying to steal my money or my packages getting lost in the mail somewhere. Drama! That being said, I consider Zalando as an outsider. I love to order things on their website: it's extremely easy to use and you can track down your order on the web. An extra plus if you're as impatient and paranoïd as I am. The fact that I already received my sneakers after 3 days makes it even better and oh... there's free shipping too. I could go on for hours. You just have to see it for yourself. Definitely an A+ for 'user friendliness' (not sure if it's an existing word and if not, it is now).

These sneakers are definitely from the 'You love' or 'You hate'-category. My dad and I both love them, my mom, sister and brother-in-law hate them. I think they could spice up even the simplest of outfits and can already imagine wearing them with a tank top and a pair of skinny jeans. Or maybe even with a dress. Talk about finding your inner Rihanna. The 'Pow!' and 'Bam!' are removable, so you kinda have 2-sneakers-for-1. #DoubleScore Secret: I was wearing them around the house and suddenly had the urge to hand out some 'Pows!' and 'Bams!' myself. Superhero shizz!

So, what d'ya think?

x Krizia

P.S.: A huge 'Thank You' to the sweet people at Zalando. You're the best.
P.P.S.: Since they're shutting down Google Friend Connect, don't forget to follow Shark Attack on Bloglovin' here.

Outfit // Life Is A Joke

Photobucket
Finally, an outfit post! Since it's rather chilly outside today - damn you, wind - I decided it was a great opportunity to take out the military jacket I bought at Zara a couple of days ago. While it seems as if I smoked some funny grass on these pictures, I can assure you that it's not the case. Due to the extreme sensitivity of my eyes, even the tiniest amount of bright daylight is enough to make me squeeze my eyes together and make them look puffy. Anyways, back to the outfit.

The Kate Moss Moustache-shirt was another gift from Zalando. I love the quote written on it: Life Is A JokeEleven Paris makes the best shirts. I decided to take out my mom's Chanel bag to match my outfit. I love the contrast between the tough rock 'n roll vibe and the classic bag. Plus, the silver hardware matches my shoes! ;)

Have a nice day, y'all.

Here are a couple of pictures taken with Instagram, to show you what I've been up to (Username: Krizia_S). I hope I can go back to the usual outfit posts ASAP! In the meantime: thanks for still following. :)

Sooo, I was in for a big surprise last Wednesday... I got a car! My amazingly sweet Dad found this Fiat 500 - the cutest cars ever, imo - and surprised me with it when I was ready to go to work. My Mom, Dad and best friend pranked me and I hopelessly bought their act. I still can't believe it and I'm trying to find an excuse to go out every 5 minutes, just so I can drive my baby around. ;)

Outfit // Tell Me About It, Stud

Frenchy: "Hey Marty, are those new glasses?"
Marty: "Oh yeah, I just got them for school. Don't you think they make me look smarter?"
Rizzo: "Nah, you can still see your face."

As I told you in my previous post, this dress reminds me of 'Grease', one of my favorite movies of all times. Hair in a bun, some low Converse All Stars and my oversized Prada sunnies did the trick... For me, at least. These pictures were taken in about 3 minutes, in between the rain falling down every now and then today. What do you think? Too bad I couldn't find a Danny Zuko lookalike, that would've nailed it.

I'm mentally preparing for the game tonight: Italy vs. Ireland. Actually, it's Spain vs. Croatia that I'm more worried about, since Italy's fate depends on their score. I guess I just have to try and make peace with the Italians getting kicked out of the European Championship. #Sniff

Boy, I sure got spoiled this morning. I almost wanted to kill the person ringing my doorbell at 8.15 AM,  but surprise took over when I received not one, but two packages. Sorry for the grumpy face, Mr. Mailman. To see what's inside, just click below.

I'd like to thank the extremely nice people at UPR, UGG Australia and Zalando for the sweet gifts!

I don't have too much going on right now... Well, actually I do: stressing over Italy in the European Championship. Come on, guys, you can do better than thàt. And Balotelli, you sure as hell need to stop being such a stuck up.
