Outfit // Feline

DSC05718
I initially had 'Cause I'm a motherf*cking P.I.M.P.' in mind as a title - because that's how I felt at the moment - but then I realized that my humor isn't everyone's cup of tea, so I had to look for some other options. Then I thought: leopard print + cat eye sunnies... Kinda feline, right? And there you go. I'm totally in love with the denim / leopard combo. One of the best combo's ever, if you ask me.

These pictures were taken in Maastricht, just across the Dutch border and about 15 minutes from my house. I always feel at ease when I'm here, I just love this city. If you ever have the chance to visit it, please do. The people, the shopping, the atmosphere, the architecture... Everything's just right. Every time I'm there, I find a hidden spot that I hadn't noticed before. And I have a different background now, yayyy!

My mom and I spent the day strolling around the city, looking for some nice sneakers to work out. Always go out in style, even if you're at the gym. That's my motto! If you're following me on Instagram, you might have already seen my new kicks. If not, you can follow me by searching for 'Krizia_S'. We ended the day having a drink together: warm milk and honey for my mom and a chocolate spoon with marshmallows for me!

Shark Attack Loves... // Valentino Combat Boots

 photo ValentinoCombatBoots_zps8588fe41.jpg
Help me, I've got a new crush! I was surfing the net, checking up on my favorite blogs, when I stumbled across these babies. Aren't they the most perfect combat boots ever? I love how Valentino has found the perfect balance between edgy and feminine; check out those flower details. Italians sure know how to treat the ladies right.

Whenever I see a certain item, images of how I can combine it start flashing before my eyes -- no joke. With these boots, I could already see myself wearing them with skinny jeans and leather trousers during winter and with shorts and dresses during summer. Sounds like a great investment, right? Right?

I immediately started checking the online shops and found them at LuisaViaRoma. If they're Valentino, you just know that they come with a certain price tag. However, I never expected them to be a whopping € 1150. Talk about bursting someone's bubble big time! It will take me forever to get that cash together, they'll probably be out of stock by then.

However, my 24th birthday is coming up - on 5 November to be correct - so it's time to put my wish list together and tuck it into my dad's coat pocket without being seen. I mean... I'm turning 24! I have a phobia of growing older; I'm not kidding, I could burst into tears just thinking about it. That being said, I need to be comforted big time and these boots are perfect for that.

You can find the boots on LuisaViaRoma here.

Outfit // Slip On

 photo DSC03882_zps1005ffda.jpg
Forget what I said in my previous outfit post: we're not experiencing an Indian summer. An Indian day might have been more appropriate, but who cares, since the sun and warmth have disappeared. When I looked out my window this morning, I could already feel the gloominess creeping over me (we're close to Halloween, hence the horror movie kinda talk). This kind of weather is synonym to comfy outfits -- for me. Even though this outfit is very comfy, I kinda like these shots, especially the close up ones. I really have an issue when it comes to selecting pictures for my blog and trying not to overdo it.

I decided to give these Givenchy slip ons another try. Don't let the comfy look fool you: these hurt like hell. While wearing them, you're heels are about to be brutalized and cut open. Anyway, they're too pretty to be ignored and I payed quite some cash for them, so I decided to put some patches in them (especially around the heels) and they're much more comfortable now. I kept the rest of my outfit simple, so that these babies will get the attention they deserve.

As for the hair: I decided to put some mousse in it and to curl the ends a bit. I'm no hair specialist at all, but I thought the result was kinda okay to shoot. And as for the jeans: I stocked up on these, so be prepared to see them glued on my legs permanently. They're perfect.

Money VS Budget // Valentino VS Michael Kors

 photo CollageValentinoMK_zps7ca98ea4.jpg
The idea for this Money VS Budget-post came to mind when I was carrying around my Valentino 'Rockstud Trapeze' bag (the one pictured above) and I saw someone wearing the Michael Kors 'Selma Studs Saffiano' bag (also pictured above). The Valentino was gifted to me by the ever so sweet people at Verso, but I can imagine that a whopping € 1390 isn't the obvious option for everyone. I think the Michael Kors one is a perfect replacement.

What do you think?

Outfit // Hidden

 photo DSC03010_zps6b09e887.jpg
I totally forgot about these Isabel Marant-pants, until I found them hidden in the darkest corner of my closet a couple of days ago -- shame on me, but it was a nice surprise, though. Plus, I don't really have that much to say today. I'm all prepared for Pukkelpop tomorrow, where I'll finally see Eminem perform. And I really need to get a new haircut and find a different location for my outfit shoots. #NoteToSelf

I'm also wearing Chanel's 'Pirate' lipstick, which quickly has become my new favorite red lipstick.

Outfit // Mötley Crüe

 photo DSC02076_zps7d8d8096.jpg
The sun is shining, I've been spending all of my time with friends and family. This is my first outfit post after breaking my ankle and recovering from it almost 2 months ago. Life's good lately. I've added a new band shirt to my collection: Mötley Crüe for the win! I got this top for only 3 euros during the sales. #Score

I really don't have that much to say this time. Just a comfy look with my most trusted trademarks: leather, studs, band shirts and red lipstick. Plus, I thought that my new Dior-sunnies would at a little touch of 'glam' to the outfit.

Thoughts?

Outfit // Pink, It's My Favorite Crayon

 photo DSC00638_zpsd4a41dfe.jpg
I'm so glad to pick up outfit shooting again, I've missed it so much! I'm not sure where to put this outfit... Casual chic? Sporty chic? Anyway, I mixed and matched a bit and I must say that I'm very pleased about the result.

A while ago, my mom forced me to stock up on some winter sweaters, since they're nowhere to be seen in my closet. I stopped by at H&M to pick up this sweater, which I also got in mint and black. I've been switching between these three colors all winter now and I'm sure that people around here are thinking that I don't own any other clothes. As for the cap: I used to wear it all the time when I was a teenager. Lets just say that I have ZERO interest in Valentine's Day, which happens to be... today. I do, however, wish you and you loved one a nice day.

And as for the title... I got inspired by Aerosmith's Pink for this one.

P.S.: Kinda picture overload, but I'm just loving these shots my mom took. #IDontHaveAPhotographerBoyfriend

Outfit // It's Not Just A Fur, It's A Prada

Photobucket
Hi guys!

So, I'm jobless again, which means I can dedicate more time to the blog again. No, I didn't get fired, but the teacher I was replacing is all fit to teach again. I just have to look on the bright side of life, right?

Anyway, my leather-on-leather habits are going on full force again. In order to avoid repetitive outfits, I decided to throw on this bi-colored faux fur stole. I found it at Prada at the outlet shopping centre in Roermond and only payed 50 euros for it. #Score I've been lusting for this furry baby ever since I saw the S/S '11-collection hitting the runway. I initially wanted the striped version, but I couldn't find them anywhere. I then found this one, but it still was 120 euros. Being the good girl that I am, I waited patiently for the sales to start and voilà...

Belgium is covered in a blanket of snow now and it's kinda nice to see. My poor sensitive eyes are so puffy from all the white they're seeing, so excuse me if I look as if I'm under the influence of some forbidden goodies.

New // Valentino & Tom Ford

Photobucket
Santa came early this year and decided to gift me two of my favorite fellas. I got these two items at Verso, one of my favorite multi brand stores in Antwerp. They have the best selection when it comes to brands such as Givenchy, Alexander McQueen, Moschino, Valentino, Fendi, Dolce & Gabbana and way more. I was allowed to shoot a video in the store, which I'll post here as soon as I finished editing it.

The Valentino-bag was on my wish list for a while now. Studs and leather: my favorite combo. I like the fact that it it's black, it fits my style perfectly, I can wear it every day and that I can throw all my shit in there.
