Outfit // Leopard Coat

DSC05423
Introducing the new leopard coat I found at Zara during the sales or my pimp coat, as I like to call it. I've been searching for one for quite a while now and I like them if they look super fake. The faker / tackier, the better! Plus, the coat is super soft. I was wearing it yesterday night during a visit to my favorite pub and everyone kept rubbing my arms and back, héhé.

I don't have that much to say. I'm invited to a dinner in about 10 minutes, so I gotta run!

Outfit // Who Dares Wins

 photo DSC04087_zps7ac30a5d.jpg
Who dares wins... Even though it might sound as the biggest cliché ever know to man, we can't deny the fact that it's actually true. Accepting a challenge, you might not always get the result you hoped for, but the experience you'll get out of it will make you a winner one way or another. So get out there, do what you think is best, try out new and different things. Live.

I love the combination of the chic skirt and casual shirt -- that rhymes, by the way. I also decided to wear my Acne Pistol boots again, to add an edgy touch to the look (and because my ankle is giving me a hard time again, no high heels for now). I got the shirt at Jeurissen in Hasselt; I always pay them a visit when I'm in the neighborhood. You can find the best brands there, such as Carven, MSGM, Markus Lupfer, Alexander Wang, Filles À Papa... Definitely a hotspot to visit if you happen to be in Hasselt.

Outfit // Bad Hair Day

Photobucket
I totally thank God for letting me find this hat, since it's a total life saver every time I have a bad hair day -- As in, like, today. I decided to take my Isabel Marant Navajo / Renell pants for a spin again. I paid quite some money to get my hands on these babies, so I better get as much use out of them as possible. I opted to go for a casual, tomboyish look. My mom said that it looks as if I ran out of a Spanish Zorro movie. Totally loving it. I'm also wearing a Marlies Dekkers bra, but it's not visible in these pics. Bummer.

Outfit // Army Green

As some of you may have read on Twitter, I went to the hairdresser - Forced by my mom. She said my hair was getting too long and literally ordered me to get my hair cut. Well, I must admit she was right. So, voilà, my new hairdo. What do you think about it?

These pictures were taken at my grandfather's place. I think it's a nice change of scenery for once. I opted for a casual outfit today, since I'm not really doing anything. I stole this parka from my sister's closet. She never wears it.

The boyfriend's waiting impatiently, so I gotta run!
Enjoy your weekend!

Outfit // Glam*It

Photobucket
A while ago, while shopping in Antwerp, I was stopped by the Glam*It-team and asked if I wanted to get featured in the 'She's Got The Look'-section. Yes, please!

Glam*It is one of my favorite magazines - I read it every month. So, when their main company announced that Glam*It would be taken off the shelves, hundreds of Belgian fashionista's were mourning this decision. The last Glam*It-issue hit the stores this month and I'm so bummed! Even though my picture didn't make it into the magazine anymore, I'm still proud that they even considered me to get featured. Glam*It's fashion editor Elspeth sent me the picture just now -- Thanks, Elspeth!

I was wearing:

Jacket: BERSHKA // Blouse: H&M // Shorts: H&M // Shoes: ACNE PISTOL BOOTS // Bag: BALENCIAGA

P.S.: May I also add I that find knees ugly? This picture proved me right once again.

Outfit // The Doors

Photobucket
For today's outfit I got inspired by one of my all time favorite bands: The Doors. Their lead singer, Jim Morrison, used to wear these type of outfits all the time, meaning leather pants, leather boots, chunky belts, a white or black shirt and a leather jacket.

I can still remember the first time I heard a song of The Doors. I think I must have been 14 or 15 years old and I was watching a movie called 'The Lost Boys'. In the movie, they play The Doors' song called 'People Are Strange' during one of the scenes. There was something about Morrison's voice that got me completely hooked and I still am today.

Last spring, I finally got to visit Jim Morrison's final resting place. He's buried in the Père Lachaise-cemetary in Paris. I had been waiting for this opportunity for years and I found it so strange how I could feel so sad about a person I'd never even met or known in my life. I guess it shows how much music can affect us. I've put one of my favorite songs in the end of the post, called 'The End'. This music might  not be everyone's cup of tea, but I still wanted to share it with you, since music is a big part of my life too.

Outfit // Knitted

DSC05654
I finally got my hands on this knitted cardigan, designed by my friend and co-blogger Tiany Kiriloff. Some of you may remember Shark Attack attending the preview event of the Tiany Kirilove for Vero Moda-collection. This cardigan immediately caught my eye that day, and I'm glad to own it now. I'm usually not a big fan of winter clothes at all - and I don't own that many either - so this cardigan is a great addition to my winter closet.

The Aerosmith band shirt is one of my purchases during the Forever 21 store preview last week. I'm such a sucker for band shirts and every time I see one of my favorite bands, I must have it.

P.S.: Don't forget to enter the Chanel give away HERE.
P.P.S.: Please vote for me in the Bloggers' Wardrobe competition on Facebook, if you want. You can find out how HERE.
P.P.P.S.: And thank you to Lisa from Liesewiesje for writing a post about the competition, trying to help me win. That's so sweet of you!
P.P.P.P.S.: I have some serious issues when it comes to selecting pictures... Just so you know and you can't say I didn't warn you when you see another picture overload.
