R.I.P Sam Edelman Boots, But ...

I think that I'm cursed when it comes to wearing new shoes.
The first time I wore my Chanel-flats, I almost ruined them by falling down the stairs and taking
everything with me on the way down.
And today, when I wanted to wear my new Sam Edelman-boots I showed you in the previous
post, this happened! When I zipped my left bootie up, the zipper opened from the way down.
The little 'handle' which you zip or unzip with, wouldn't move anymore, which means my foot
was trapped in my bootie.

After almost throwing a vase out of the window and my mom almost ripping my foot off when she
was trying to move the zip down, I decided to go to the store where I bought the boots.
(I bought them at 1927 in Maasmechelen Village!)
They immediately gave me a pair of new boots, without any further questions!
Now that's what I call some good service. I know a lot of stores where the sales women would be
a pain in a case like this.
So thank you to the sweet sales women at 1927 for the amazing service!

I'm not showing my face that much on the pictures, because I wasn't feeling very well, and it
showed a lot, even if I put some make-up on. :D

  11. Hey!

Sam Edelman in België? :)

    Keep up the good work!

  12. @ ATW: Thanks! I'll check your blog right now!

Xoxo

  18. Your boots are simply amazing! I adore them but when I decide to buy a similar pair then I hesitate because it is very difficult for me to walk with so high stilettos on Antwerp streets! :) Could you give me some tips for it? I must say Im not from here (Im peruvian) but Im more that used to wear high heels in my country, then I dont know why is so difficult to do it here :P

    Kisses,

  19. @ Angela R: Thanks for your comment! If you really want to wear heels, I would recommend you a pair of shoes in trend of the Miu Miu ones which you can see here: http://www.shoeperwoman.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/04/miu-miu-sparrow-pumps.jpg

Because of the thick heel (like on the picture), your feet will be more stabilized, so it will be much easier to walk in such heels than in those thin stiletto heels!

And you could also try some wedges, which are even more easier to walk in, but give the same graceful effect as heels, like making your legs seem longer, for example.

I hope this helped you out a little.
If you still have any questions left, don't hesitate to ask!

  20. Thanks very much for your kind answer, Krizia! I must admit I was seriously thinking on buying a pair of wedges like yours from River Island, so maybe they will be my christmas gift :D

On the other hand, I have to get used to walk with high heels here anyway, because I have two pairs of lovely knee high boots waiting for me in my wardrobe and I must wear them!!!! so its just a matter of practice and braveness, I think! :D

    ReplyDelete
  21. @ Angela R.:

Or you could buy both! :D
Yes, it really is a matter of practice. Whenever I get a pair of new heels, I wear them around the house first, so that I can get used to them before I take them outside. =)
