Outfit // Mötley Crüe

 photo DSC02076_zps7d8d8096.jpg
The sun is shining, I've been spending all of my time with friends and family. This is my first outfit post after breaking my ankle and recovering from it almost 2 months ago. Life's good lately. I've added a new band shirt to my collection: Mötley Crüe for the win! I got this top for only 3 euros during the sales. #Score

I really don't have that much to say this time. Just a comfy look with my most trusted trademarks: leather, studs, band shirts and red lipstick. Plus, I thought that my new Dior-sunnies would at a little touch of 'glam' to the outfit.

Thoughts?

Personal // Instagram June 2013

July has started, so it's time for an Instagram-recap of June. It seems that I was all into quotes last month, something I can get tons of inspiration from. Anyway, I'm not going to babble too much, don't they say a picture says more than a thousand words?

New // Jeffrey Campbell 'Wordz' Sneakers

 photo DSC02065_zps64cec86f.jpg
First of all, I'd like to apologize for the absence on the blog. They removed the plaster about 10 days ago and I've been taking advantage of my regained freedom to the fullest. Going out with my friends and family, driving my car again... The little things in life. My ankle isn't 100 % healed; it's still swollen and it hurts if I walk too long. The fact that I can't wear heels just yet kindled a strange interest in sneakers. So when Zalando offered me to pick out something out of their ridiculously huge collection, the choice was already kinda made.

I set my eyes on these dope Jeffrey Campbell-sneakers and immediately clicked them home. I rarely order things online. There's always a worst case scenario going on in my head: online shops trying to steal my money or my packages getting lost in the mail somewhere. Drama! That being said, I consider Zalando as an outsider. I love to order things on their website: it's extremely easy to use and you can track down your order on the web. An extra plus if you're as impatient and paranoïd as I am. The fact that I already received my sneakers after 3 days makes it even better and oh... there's free shipping too. I could go on for hours. You just have to see it for yourself. Definitely an A+ for 'user friendliness' (not sure if it's an existing word and if not, it is now).

These sneakers are definitely from the 'You love' or 'You hate'-category. My dad and I both love them, my mom, sister and brother-in-law hate them. I think they could spice up even the simplest of outfits and can already imagine wearing them with a tank top and a pair of skinny jeans. Or maybe even with a dress. Talk about finding your inner Rihanna. The 'Pow!' and 'Bam!' are removable, so you kinda have 2-sneakers-for-1. #DoubleScore Secret: I was wearing them around the house and suddenly had the urge to hand out some 'Pows!' and 'Bams!' myself. Superhero shizz!

So, what d'ya think?

P.S.: A huge 'Thank You' to the sweet people at Zalando. You're the best.

Shark Attack Loves... // Eleven Paris Backnumber Shirts

 photo ElevenParisCollage_zps065759d7.jpg
I never really payed much attention to the backnumber shirts - which seem to be the newest trend - because I'm not really 'Sporty Spice'. Maybe that's not entirely true... I used to practice gymnastics and horseback riding when I was younger and I used to dance too. I then went to college and my priorities kinda changed, y'all know how it goes.

One of my all time favorite brands, Eleven Paris, designed their own version of the backnumber shirts and I'm really digging these ones. My favorites are the Jesus one (because I'm not religious at all and I like the irony) and the Kravitz one (because it's about Lenny and he's just perfect).

I'd probably buy them oversized, so that I can wear it as a dress or so that I can tuck them in a pair of denim shorts to get that 'baggy' effect. Since Eleven Paris launched the shirts just recently, I couldn't find any pictures of bloggers or other people wearing them, so I collected my top 3 of looks with similar shirts. Just click to see more. ;)

Which shirt is your favorite?
You can buy the shirts on the Eleven Paris-website here.
