Shark Attack Loves... // Eleven Paris Backnumber Shirts

 photo ElevenParisCollage_zps065759d7.jpg
I never really payed much attention to the backnumber shirts - which seem to be the newest trend - because I'm not really 'Sporty Spice'. Maybe that's not entirely true... I used to practice gymnastics and horseback riding when I was younger and I used to dance too. I then went to college and my priorities kinda changed, y'all know how it goes.

One of my all time favorite brands, Eleven Paris, designed their own version of the backnumber shirts and I'm really digging these ones. My favorites are the Jesus one (because I'm not religious at all and I like the irony) and the Kravitz one (because it's about Lenny and he's just perfect).

I'd probably buy them oversized, so that I can wear it as a dress or so that I can tuck them in a pair of denim shorts to get that 'baggy' effect. Since Eleven Paris launched the shirts just recently, I couldn't find any pictures of bloggers or other people wearing them, so I collected my top 3 of looks with similar shirts. Just click to see more. ;)

Which shirt is your favorite?
You can buy the shirts on the Eleven Paris-website here.

Fashion News // Filles à Papa Launches Swimwear Collection

 photo FAP_zpsaa480cde.jpg
Another post from Belgian territory:

Carol and Sarah, the designing sister duo behind Filles À Papa, are launching a S/S '13 swimwear collection called 'Welcome To Paradise'. The collection contains bikini's and bathing suits with the Paradise-print, but it looks like they mainly focusing on the TOMBOY-collection, which was a big hit among their fans and in Hollywood too. Singer Rita Ora and top model Jourdan Dunn were already spotted wearing a TOMBOY shirt.

Speaking of top models, Belgian top model Laura 'Yumi' Lambert is the face of the 'Welcome To Paradise'-campaign. Belgians are taking over! The campaign was shot by photographer Gregory Derkenne, who takes all of the Filles À Papa shots.

All items are 100 % made in Belgium and will be sold at Glorybox (Brussels), at Excelsior (Milan), at Browns (London) and at the Filles À Papa webshop (obviously).

What's your favorite item?
Mine's definitely the TOMBOY bikini and bathing suit, in both colors! Love!

Fashion News // Robert Pattinson & A Cut Above

 photo ACA_zps6323e980.jpg
Imagine that you're one hell of a dreamer and risk taker, deciding to set up your own clothing line. Imagine that, only a year later, one of Hollywood's biggest, most handsome and most wanted actors decides to wear one of your designs. That's what happened to a friend of mine just a few days ago. Time to introduce a new, hot, quickly up and coming brand and from Belgian soil: A Cut Above.

Back in 2008, A Cut Above used to be a store founded and managed by Robin De Flo, with the main focus on high-end streetwear. In 2012, An Josefien Falelavaki - best known as AJ OMO - stepped into the scene and they decided to close the store and focus on their own collection, again called A Cut Above. It's needless to say that there are many that tried to make it in the fashion bizz with their designs... and failed. So to take the risk in a teeny tiny country called Belgium and in times of crisis can be called crazy yet admirable. In this case, it seemed to be the best move they could do, since the brand has been going hard since the beginning and is destined to go even harder now that a Hollywood celeb was spotted with one of A Cut Above's designs.

If you're following me on Instagram, you've probably noticed that I uploaded the picture above with the following caption:
Robert Pattinson's wearing @anjosefien's design. ROBERT PATTINSON. Proud of you, babe. #Proud #ACutAbove #BelgiumGoesToHollywood #HellFuckingYes
Yes, none other than Robert Pattinson was wearing a cap by A Cut Above. You know, the glittering vampire from the Twilight-saga that caused mass hysteria among teenage girls. I don't believe in vampires that glitter, but I can only imagine the emotion when you see a first class Hollywood hunk wearing one of your designs.

I believe that this is only the beginning of something big and I can't wait to see how the brand will evolve. I've been following A Cut Above since the beginning and it's so exciting to see how much it has grown in such a short amount of time.

New // Dior S/S '13 Sunglasses

 photo DSC02053_zpsbfeb8b51.jpg
I'm not going to write a whole post about Isabel Marant for H&M, since tons of blogs have already done it -- I should wake up earlier in the morning. That being said, I think this is the first time that I'm 100% excited for a H&M-collaboration and I'm so freakin' impatient to see what Isabel will do!

I received these awesome Dior sunnies yesterday and I couldn't be more excited about them. I fell in love with them when I first saw them in the Spring/Summer '13 runway show, got even more convinced when I saw the picture from the campaign below and was 100 % positive of allowing myself to fall in love when I opened the box.

However, when I tried them on and looked in the mirror, my first reaction was: "What the... These don't suit me at all." You see, because of the asymmetric color combination, the sunglasses have a very particular shape when you're wearing them. It's very difficult to explain, so I suggest to try them on if you get the chance. It took me quite some stares in the mirror to get used to them and now that I have, they are my new it-sunnies for this summer.

I've heard that there are only 20 selling points to purchase these Dior sunnies here in Belgium, so I advise you to act fast if they're on your wish list!
