Collection // Red Valentino F/W RTW 2014

Snowwhite1
I'm usually all about the rock 'n roll kind of lifestyle, but from the second that I hear 'Disney', I turn into an 8-year-old all over again. I've been to Disneyland Paris about 9 times now (and we're planning a new trip in the near future), my bedside table is packed with Tinkerbell statues and I still have all of the stuffed animals and puppets that I bought there in my room.

So when I saw the campaign shots of Red Valentino's Fall / Winter Ready To Wear 2014 collection, I shrieked from happiness. An entire Snow White themed collection, it can't get any better than this. My eyes are open for the Snow White printed dresses, the apple purses, the big shopping bags and the heart shaped eye patch. I love how the collection is a mix between the girly girl and the rock chick.

What do you think about the collection?
Leave your thoughts in the comment box below, I can't wait to hear them.

Event // Christian Louboutin & Cinderella

Photobucket
Once upon a time, a simple girl, living in a small town in Belgium, received the invitation above. How could she ignore that? She couldn't, right? She loves Disney - her parents got her a bunch of Disney DVDs on her 18th birthday - and she loves Christian Louboutin (well, duh).

Disney & Louboutin... Combine these to together and what do you get? An interpretation of Cinderella's glass slipper by Mr. Louboutin himself, to celebrate the worldwide release of Cinderella on Blu-ray and DVD. The shoes are light, transparent and beam pure beauty. Butterflies, lace and Swarovski-crystals complete the realization of one of the world's most famous pair of shoes.

Belmodo organized a competition in order to win a pair of these gorgeous shoes - of which only 20 pairs are made. Five lucky ladies were picked by Christian Louboutin himself as the ultimate finalists and one of them would be the one and only Belgian Cinderella. So, I dragged my parents to Brussels (I'm not driving in Brussels, oh hell no!), where the event was taking place at the gorgeous Warwick Barsey Hotel, to see which ridiculously lucky girl would be the modern day Cinderella.

Come and have a look with me!
Just click below and bibbidi-bobbidi-boo... You'll see the pictures.

I Love ... Jean-Charles de Castelbajac.

While everyone is talking about how Chanel or Burberry never fail to impress them when
they show us their new collections, I can't agree more.

But another designer that never fails to impress me - personally - is the
wonderful Jean-Charles de Castelbajac.
I already did a small post about him HERE, but when I saw his Bambi / Disney-inspired
collection, I just had to write another post.

I'm a huge Disney-fan, as some of you may already know, and I literally went
ballistic when I saw this collection, especially about the Bambi-pumps.
They're absolutely A-DO-RA-BLE!

I know Jean-Charles de Castelbajac may not be everyone's cup of tea,
but I love him.
What do you think about his designs?

Editorial // Disney Fashion Designers For Elle Spain

I was very excited when I saw this editorial published in the April issue of Elle Espana. Even though I'm 20 years old right now, I'm still a big Disney-fan - especially of the old movies. I've been to Disneyland about 9 times and I would go back in a heartbeat! I still remember buying a Snow White-dress, pink princess slippers, a Cinderella wand, a velvet pink Minnie Mouse diary, having breakfast with all of the Disney characters ... My parents spent fortunes there, just to keep me satisfied.

The editorial shows famous Disney-characters as famous fashion designers such as Karl Lagerfeld, John Galliano and Donatella Versace.

Enjoy!
