Christmas Tip // Make It Yours With Kipling

Kipling5
Christmas is just around the corner and every year, I struggle with finding the perfect gifts for my friends and family. Can your relate to this as well or are you the perfect gift hunter? If you are, please share your tips and tricks! Anyway, this year, the struggle wasn't as real as it used to be, thanks to Kipling.

Aaah, Kipling. Such nostalgia! The brand has been around for decades and is still going strong. I can still remember my first Kipling bag in primary school - a baby blue one - and you basically felt like an outsider if you didn't have one. And not to forget the anticipation to find out the name of the monkey on your keychain. I love these memories! I'm currently working a store which also sells Kipling and it's still one of their top selling brands.

The brand has been renewing and reinventing itself over the years and is now launching the Make It Yours project, which gives you the opportunity to personalize Kipling bags and accessories. Choose your favorite color and font so that your purchase becomes yours and yours only. I chose ART M travel bag in Alaskan Blue and personalized it with my name in white, so that it pops from afar. The bag's perfect to use when traveling, to go to the gym or to take with you for a sleepover.

I absolutely love this initiative and it's the perfect opportunity to gift your best friends or family with something super personal and customized!

Christmas Tip // www.luxedy.com

JuliDansJewels1
November has come to an end, which means that we officially can kick off Christmas season! I'll be playing Last Christmas by Wham on repeat starting today, which is my yearly tradition. Unfortunately, December (to me, personally) also means that dreadful experience of finding the perfect Christmas presents. I'm the worst at it: I always start my search way too late and I never have the inspiration to come up with something unique or original.

Luckily, my search got a little bit easier when I bumped into Luxedy quite some time ago: my personal online hotspot whenever I want to buy one of my girlfriends something pretty. The website is stacked with gorgeous and affordable jewelry. I recently got these adorable Juli Dans Jewels bracelets and I love them! My wardrobe mainly consist out of black clothing and the bracelets add the right pop of color to my outfits.

The Rigid Clover bracelet (top) is my favorite and is perfect to give to your girlfriend, mom, sister ... for Christmas. With a clover symbolizing good luck, it's the perfect lucky charm to give or receive. Another fun thing to know: all of the Juli Dans Jewels are gold-plated with 18 carat gold.

Have fun shopping!

Personal // Merry Christmas!

Xmas9© Tumblr

Merry Christmas, everyone! I hope everyone will get to spend the holidays with their loved ones. I'm going to keep it short today. This is the first Christmas since my grandfather passed away, so I'm not really in a mood to celebrate. We're still having a family get together at my place tonight, but it won't be the same.

Anyway, my goals for Christmas Eve are to spend some time with my family, eat tons of food, open some presents and to watch 'Home Alone'. It doesn't feel like Christmas if I don't get to watch that movie on Christmas Eve. The same goes for 'Last Christmas' by Wham!; it's the only Christmas song acceptable to me.  I collected some inspiration on Tumblr, this blog needs a cheery touch every now and then. ;)

What are your plans for tonight?

Merry Christmas!

I wish that I could show you a picture of my Christmas tree, but my mom decided not to set one up this year. I guess you'll have to do with a picture I've found on Tumblr

Anyway, back to the original purpose of this post...
I'd like to wish you all a merry Christmas, with lots of love and happiness! You know, all the super cheesy stuff, but I'm not going to bother you with that. I'm planning on spending the night at home with my family and some friends, talking and stuffing myself with tons of food. What are your plans?

Personal // Christmas

While wishing you a Merry Christmas in advance in my previous post, I am now wishing you a belated Merry Christmas! I hope you all had an amazing time with your loved ones and I wish you all the best in the world.

My Christmas consisted out of family, friends and TONS of food -- That's what you get when you come from an Italian family. A couple of days ago, I was invited to a friend's Christmas party, which meant I got to spend the night with some of my closest friends accompanied by tons of food (again).
That's me after dinner in the first picture -- Totally tired of eating and resting to let everything sink in.

I wanted to show you some pictures of the Christmas party, ft. three of my closest friends. There are  other friends worth mentioning too, though. Friends who were at the party and of which I didn't  manage to take a picture and friends who were not there, but whom I still keep close in my heart. I'm going to start with them first:

Sabrina: My best friend since high school. She and I are the perfect example of the fact that you don't have to see or hear each other every day to know that you can count on each other, no matter what.
Hille: She's been there for me in some critical moments. We've been through so much together, I couldn't live without her.
Giovanna: The hostess of the Christmas party and someone who's become a close friend over a short amount of time. We've known each other since high school, but we never really hung out together -- Until a couple of months ago. I'm so happy that I got to know her better.

I feel blessed to have such amazing friends and I hope that you also have those few close friends of which you know they will always be there for you (and vice versa, of course).
