Shark Attack Talks... // Kim Kardashian's Baby Bump Fashion

Since I'm stuck at home with a broken ankle and I can't take outfit pictures, I'm brainstorming non stop on how to keep updating the blog. Not that easy, believe me. And now you're probably thinking: "Kim Kardashian, what the f*ck?" Do let me explain before you rip me apart.

Yesterday, I started watching the new season of Keeping Up With The Kardashians. Yes, I'm a fan! Spare me the "They all are rich and famous for nothing"-crap, please. As for the sex tape... *yawn* Heard it about a bazillion times, don't care.

Anyway, in the first episode, Kim announces she's pregnant with Kanye's baby and... they're expecting a baby girl! I'm totally dying to know if the baby's name will start with a K too. She's due to deliver in July, so we'll know soon enough. We all know that Kim has had a lot to take during her pregnancy, her changing body on top of the list. She always had curves and I can kinda relate to her because I have them too, especially in the 'bum area'. I had a hard time dealing with it - I've been called 'duck ass' for years - but I finally accepted the fact that I'll never be skinny and that my boo-tay is a part of me. So it really bothers me to read all the awful and mean comments about Kim's weight. No one should be judged about his or her weight or body, never ever. SHE'S PREGNANT, PEOPLE. Already being curvy + gaining more curves = CURVES. Do the math. It's very sad that a woman isn't able to enjoy her pregnancy because some people find it necessary to criticise her body and clothes.

That's how I came up with this article. Admitted, Kim's mom to be outfits weren't always the best, but she seems to have found her baby bump style lately. Not that her stylish maternity outfits are getting any attention. No no, she's only getting tons of crap about her what-not-to-wear-when-you're-pregnant-outfits. BUT THAT'S GOING TO CHANGE RIGHT NOW, because I collected some of Kim's prettiest maternity outfits. Yes, they do exist! Curvy girls have got to stick together.

Shark Attack Loves... // Mr. Gugu & Miss Go Pharaoh Shirt

If you're a regular follower of the blog, you know that I graduated as a history teacher. I always loved ancient Egypt -- I could go on for hours about all the myths, legends and symbolism. When I was in high school, I gave a presentation about King Tut during history class - and accidentally switching up Howard Carter and Howard Hughes because I had seen 'The Aviator' the night before, but that's a total different story - and it's still is a dream of mine to go to Egypt some day (and to discover a secret tomb myself).

I guess it's needless to say that I developed a huge, major crush on this pharaoh printed shirt by Mr. Gugu & Miss Go. It's over the top, totally in your face, on the edge of kitsch and I'm loving it! I'm already imagining this shirt with a pair of skinny jeans and boots or a super girly skirt and heels. You can also check out the T-shirt version here, which I'm digging even more. All I have to do now is to try to get my hands on my mom's credit card. Wish me luck!

The picture above was taken when I was on my way to see Lana Del Rey live in Brussels. She was absolutely perfect and her voice is flawless. Her performance was worth every single penny.

New // Sacha Sneakers

Meet my new sneakers, gifted by Sacha. When they told me I could pick a pair from their website, I knew it would be sneakers, since my ankle is still broken and I probably won't be able to wear heels for a while... Which is also why I'm not posting any outfit posts lately. All I can wear for the moment are leggings and sweatpants. Nothing fashionable about that.

Anyway, I thought these sneakers would look cool combined with a pair of skinny jeans, leather trousers or underneath a dress. If Rihanna's allowed to do it, so am I. When I opened the box, I immediately noticed the platform sole. They didn't seem so 'platformy' when I clicked them home, so I kinda started panicking. I never considered myself as one to wear platforms. Anyway, I do like myself a challenge once in a while and the more I look at them, the more I like them. They'll add the right amount of dope / swag to an outfit. Oh no, I'm talking slang now!
