Last week, I jetted of to Antwerp to visit the Mid Season S/S '15 event of one of my favorite PR agencies. Just imagine a day filled with fun people, awesome new collections and some snacks and drinks. My mom snapped the picture above in between two snow showers. I thought it would be fun to wear my Stan Smith sneakers and baring my ankles, but I hated myself all day for it. It was freezing!
Anyway, I took some pictures of my favorite items with my iPhone (since I didn't want to ruin my camera while walking in the snow) and luckily, UPR's photographer also took some cool shots.

Before the event, my mom and I stopped for lunch at a place nearby -- I forgot the name, sorry! I got the bacon and rucola sandwiches and they were SO good. They were totally worth the ruined red lipstick afterwards.
A ProNails nail bar! I have artificial nails, so I couldn't get a manicure (#cries), but I saw tons of other ladies with pretty, colorful nails.
Swarovski teamed up with Belgian architect Vincent Van Duysen, who created this amazing collection called 'Frost'. Personally, the shape of the designs and the crystals reminds me of the natural shape of amethyst. Unfortunately, the amazing necklace above isn't for sale (#criesagain).
Prada Candy! The flacons totally cheer me up. Prada Candy L'Eau De Parfum is my favorite and contains caramel, musk, vanilla and benzoin notes.
As an Italian lady, you can always make me happy with a delicious cup of Illy.
Loving the old school Moschino letters on this bikini!
I'm not the biggest fan of the classic camel Timberlands, but these colored ones are so dope! They also come in pink, but they weren't available at the presentation because someone had borrowed them for a shoot. I'm definitely going to get my hands on a pair of these.
Loving the detailed sleeves on this Filippa K shirt.
I used to live in my black Dr. Martens when I was a teenager -- you know, when I used to wear nothing but black, listened to punk and metal music and rebelled against anything and anyone in my life. Yep, I was quite a handful. Even though all things black still catch my attention first, these colored leopard printed Dr. Martens are awesome as well / hell. I'd combine them with a long coat and a pair of leather trousers during winter. Or with a band shirt of one of my favorite punk rock bands and a pair of denim shorts during summer. Plus, they're the perfect shoes to wear to a festival, believe me. These boots can survive literally anything and they're comfy as hell.
These Valentino sunnies are the perfect accessory for coming summer: I love the combo of the classic shape and tortoise print with the (now iconic) Valentino studs.
The UPR offices are located right next to the docks and the MAS museum in Antwerp. I love the surroundings and atmosphere there. Oh, and do you see the man in the background? I didn't noticed him until now and decided to zoom in on my iPhone. It turns out he's actually looking our way and it even looks as if he's smiling; which now makes me wonder who this man is. Which then made me think a quote I once read somewhere. I tend to overthink stuff sometimes:
"Do you ever look at a picture of yourself and see a stranger in the background? It makes you wonder how many strangers have pictures of you. How many moments of other people's lives have we been in? Were we a part of someone's life when their dreams came true? Or were we there when their dreams died? Did we keep trying to get in as if we were somehow destined to be there? Or did the shot take us by surprise? Just think. You could be a big part of someone elses life and not know it."
